Springsteen charged with drunken driving; Jeep ad on pause

Springsteen was arrested Nov. 14 in a part of the Gateway National Recreation Area on the New Jersey coast, a spokesperson for the National Park Service confirmed Wednesday. Springsteen received citations for driving while under the influence, reckless driving and consuming alcohol in a closed area. While during Sunday's Super Bowl, he appeared in a Jeep ad filmed in Kansas that urged people to find common ground. But the company said, โitโs also right that we pause our Big Game commercial until the actual facts can be established."
Family of 2-year-old boy found wandering streets alone in Detroit has been located
DETROIT โ Detroit police said a 2-year-old boy was found Monday wandering the streets alone on the cityโs west side. The childโs family was located before 1 p.m. on Monday. A resident saw the boy around 7:50 a.m. Monday walking around in the 8200 block of Asbury Park without supervision and crying, according to authorities. That person took the boy to the Detroit Police Departmentโs Sixth Precinct. Police said the childโs mother fell asleep and the child wandered out of the house.
34-year-old man drives himself to hospital after being shot in Detroit, police say
DETROIT โ Police are investigating after a 34-year-old man was shot in the 20500 block of Asbury Park in Detroit. The incident happened Friday at 2:30 a.m. Police were sent to a hospital to take a shooting report. The victim said he was shot on Asbury Park. He told police an unknown man in a black SUV and fired multiple shots. The victim drove himself to a hospital.
Detroit police seek to identify suspect in nonfatal shooting, carjacking
DETROIT Police are working to identify a suspect wanted in connection to a nonfatal shooting and carjacking that happened on Detroits west side. The suspect asked the victim to assist him with a boost for his vehicle and said that his vehicle was on Ferguson Street, according to police. Both the victim and suspect entered the victims White 2004 Express Van and drove to the 16700 block of Ferguson. The victim exited the vehicle and the suspect fled the scene in the victims van. Woman shoots son for banging on door of Detroit home, police say
DETROIT - A Detroit woman shot her son through the door of her home because he was banging on the door, according to police. The shooting happened at 8:12 a.m. Monday in the 12900 block of Asbury Park on Detroit's west side, police said. A 31-year-old man broke the glass of the storm door and continued to bang on the door of the home, according to officials.
