Police seek information in Detroit triple shooting that injured 3
DETROIT – Police are investigating a triple shooting that happened Saturday at around 1:40 a.m. in the 5000 block of East Outer Drive in Detroit. According to police, a 23-year-old man pulled out a weapon during an argument with two other people in the area. Police say after he pulled out the weapon the situation escalated with a struggle between him, another 23-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman. Two of the victims were taken to a hospital and listed in temporary serious condition. Anyone with information is asked to call the Detroit police at 313-596-1140.
DDOT bus driver injured in multi-vehicle crash near Dequindre, East Outer Drive
DETROIT – A Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) bus driver is in the hospital after a violent crash on Detroit’s east side that involved multiple vehicles. It happened at the intersection of Dequindre Street and East Outer Drive. Police said a 23-year-old driver of a Purple Magnum caused the multi-car crash involving a DDOT bus at the intersection. The bus hit some poles and the bus driver was ejected from the vehicle. The bus driver is recovering at the hospital.
Body found inside car on Detroit’s east side
DETROIT – Police are investigating after a woman’s body was found in the backseat of a car on Detroit’s east side. Police said the discovery was made at about 6 a.m. Wednesday in a car near the intersection of Hayes Street and East Outer Drive. Detroit police search for missing 14-year old
DETROIT Detroit police are searching for 14-year-old Jontae Singleton Jr., who was last seen on Friday in the 4600 block of East Outer Drive. Police said Jontae was last seen by his grandmother following an argument. The grandmother told police she left the home and Jontae was gone when she returned. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, slide-in shoes with white socks and a red backpack. Fire truck involved in violent crash in Detroit
DETROIT - A crash investigation is underway after a fire truck hit several cars and a utility pole Monday night on East Outer Drive at Dequindre Street. Firefighters who were responding to a call lost control of the vehicle, crashing into several cars, and then into a pole, bringing down power lines. No one was seriously hurt. Person found dead after fire catches fire in Detroit
