DETROIT – In 1993, Midway released “NBA Jam” in arcades across the country. The game was later ported to the Super Nintendo, the Sega Game Gear, the Sega Genesis, the Sega CD and the Game Boy in 1994. Lead designer Mark Turmell wanted to make a game that had a wide appeal, covering multiple demographics, after his last game with Midway sold under expectations. Turmell was an avid fan of the Detroit Pistons and programed the game to lower the stats of Chicago Bulls players when they played against the Pistons. AdThe player roster was taken from the 1993-94 season, the last season Pistons point guard Isiah Thomas played before he retired.

Diamond, 44, begun undergoing chemotherapy treatments last month after being diagnosed with cancer, a representative told the Associated Press. For that, we are grateful.”Airing on TV from 1989 to 1993, “Saved By The Bell” led to spinoffs such as “Saved by the Bell: The College Years” and “Saved by the Bell: The New Class,” both of which Diamond starred in. Lopez tweeted his condolences for Diamond’s family: “Dustin, you will be missed my man. In addition to “Saved By The Bell”, Diamond has appeared on reality TV shows, made a sex tape and produced “The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story” on Lifetime TV.

Ann Arbor’s Wild Swan Theater to have Halloween variety show Wednesday night
ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Wild Swan Theater has put together a Halloween-themed variety show for Ann Arbor families. Starting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, the children’s theater will host its free Halloween Variety Hour through Facebook Live. After the live performance, the show can be watched on the Wild Swan Facebook page. Although the doors to its theater closed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Wild Swan entertained audiences in July with a virtual series of 30-minute variety shows. Former Charlie’s Angel tackles aging with optimism
Cheryl Ladd made her rise to fame as Kris Munroe, joining the cast of the original Charlie’s Angels in it’s second season. Ladd first began to think about aging when she noticed some changes to her eyesight. The doctor diagnosed her with cataracts, and Ladd said that she had always thought of cataracts as something for older generations. She said that after the surgery, she not only felt younger, but more optimistic about what her life would be like going forward. There are plenty of Cheryl Ladd projects to look forward to, including a possible team up between former agents.

Contestants face off against each other, and vote off the “weakest link” every round. Former host Anne Robinson earned the nickname “the queen of mean” from her scathing critiques of contestants' mistakes. Lynch shared what she’s looking forward as the host of the show.
