Roxie’s Breakfast and Lunch takes over for Michelle’s on Gull Road
KALAMAZOO, MI — Roxie’s Breakfast and Lunch has taken over the Gull Road location of Michelle’s, a locally owned breakfast and lunch restaurant. The new brunch place opens on Tuesday, Aug. 31, at 4010 Gull Road. The owner at Roxie’s is Stephen Walatyn, who worked for Michelle’s owners Mike and Jane Leeuw before the opportunity came to branch out on his own. He was offered the chance to become the owner of Michelle’s on Gull Road, he said. The Walantyn family decided on Roxie’s, honoring Steve’s late mother.

This food truck rally is a great way to dine-out while social distancing!
A perfect way to do that is to feast at a food truck rally! The Michigan MEGA Food Truck Rally is happening this Saturday, July 4th at Canterbury Village in Orion Township. Unlike last year, there will be no tables or chairs, guests are expected to walk around the park at a safe distance, going from food stand to food stand. Currently, there are 25 food trucks expected to be in attendance, and they may add a few more before the event this Saturday. Galindo’s “A Taste of Mexico” food truck is returning for its second year at the rally.
