DETROIT – Finding a job can be hard during a pandemic, especially if there’s a need for further education. If you are looking for a job but are dealing with barriers to employment like education, one local non-profit is here to help. “I leave for boot camp in February!”Unable to attend regular school due in part to her age at the time of immigration, she continued her education here at SER Metro Detroit Youth Services. Bryndyn is another SER Metro Detroit graduate and success story. Last year, SER Metro Detroit served 1,000 young people.

Tasty Tuesday Home Edition: Paul Gross shares secret no-knead bread recipe
DETROIT This weeks Tasty Tuesday Home Edition takes us to the kitchen of Paul Gross! If its too loose, then add a little flour to stiffen it up; if its too firm, then add a bit of water. Generously coat a cotton towel (not terry cloth) with flour, wheat bran or corn meal. Put dough seam side down on towel and dust with more flour, wheat bran or cornmeal. When it is ready, dough will not readily spring back when poked with a finger.

Icing:In a mixing bowl, combine 1/2 cups of butter, 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, 4 cups of powdered sugar and 2 teaspoons of vanilla chai tea.
