Michigan youth hockey doctor charged with 2 more counts of criminal sexual conduct
PONTIAC, MI – Prosecutors in Oakland County have charged a Michigan doctor with two more counts of criminal sexual conduct, bringing the total to nine. Dr. Zvi Levran, 66, of Farmington Hills was arraigned in October on four counts of third-degree CSC and three counts of fourth-degree CSC. In one new case, Levran is accused of assaulting a 30-year-old male at his home in Farmington Hills in December 2020. Levran remains in the Oakland County Jail with multiple bonds exceeding $2,000,000. FARMINGTON HILLS, MI – A Michigan doctor who has worked with hockey clubs for more than 20 years has been charged with multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct. Dr. Zvi Levran was arraigned in 47th District Court late last week on four counts of third-degree CSC and three counts of fourth-degree CSC. The charges come after a criminal complaint was filed by a 19-year-old male following a medical exam at the doctor’s home office in Farmington Hills on Oct. 18. It is alleged that during the medical examination, Dr. Levran, who has worked with youth hockey organizations in Michigan and Minnesota, sexually assaulted his patient. Farmington Hills Police Chief Jeff King extended his thoughts and prayers for the victim and commended him for his courage in coming forward and reporting this incident.
