Person of interest arrested in Adrian double homicide
DETROIT – The bodies of two men were discovered at 10:30 p.m. Friday at a home in the 900 block of Frank Street in Adrian after police went there to complete a welfare check. A person of interest in the double homicide has been arrested. According to police, the person of interest fled the scene in a vehicle that later crashed. Police say the person of interest then ran away from the crash scene on foot and was taken into custody shortly afterward. The victims were killed after a verbal altercation between the gunman and several people became physical, police say. Man faces 15 charges in triple homicide including death of 6-year-old boy
WARREN, Mich. – Nicholas Bahri appeared in court answering to a judge for allegedly being the person behind the murder of three including 6-year-old Tai’raz Moore. Bahri is facing 15 charges, including three counts of first-degree murder and three counts of felony firearm. While he was arraigned, the mother of one of the victims, Isis Rimson, was outside the courtroom openly grieving and hoping for justice. “My grandbaby will live without her mother for the rest of her life,” said Rimson’s mother, Derlanda Farmer. Warren police found the bodies of Tai’raz and Rimson, on Oct. 1 inside a home on Oits Avenue near Nine Mile and Dequindre roads.

The 6-year-old boy was shot execution style in the basement of a Warren home. A song of inspiration filled the Erma Henderson Park in Detroit as about 200 family and friends gathered Friday night to celebrate Tai’raz’s life. “It’s time for us to stand up and protect our babies,” said a friend of the family. Many people in Metro Detroit said the news of Tai’raz, his father and Rimson’s murders were sickening.
West Bloomfield home raided in connection with Warren, Detroit triple-homicide
WARREN, Mich. – A house in West Bloomfield was raided by police Friday morning in connection with a triple-homicide between Detroit and Warren. Officers were at the house to notify Rimson that her boyfriend, Tai’raz’s father, had been found dead in a burning car on Detroit’s west side. Warren police Commissioner Bill Dwyer confirmed Tai’raz and Rimson were led down to the basement of the home. Motive of gunman who killed his mother and sister in Dearborn Heights remains unknown
DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. – This morning detectives continued an investigation into a double homicide that happened Saturday and has shaken Dearborn Heights. Dearborn Heights police have identified the shooter as a 43-year-old Dearborn Heights man. Both of the victims are also Dearborn Heights residents. According to Dearborn Heights Police Department, he then shot at officers as they continued giving him orders to drop the weapon. In addition to the AR-style rifle, the gunman had another rifle in his bedroom along with about 30 loaded magazines.
2 men killed in Michigan mobile home, police say
KENTWOOD, Mich. – Two men were killed in a Kentwood mobile home Friday night, according to a report from Grand Rapids based station WOOD-TV. Police were called to the Paris Estates Mobile Home Park after 11 p.m. Friday night. The victims, two men in their 30s, were found fatally shot by officers inside a home on Marlette Avenue.
