The site was formerly home to Sebald’s Bakery. The new restaurant will be the first Buffalo Wild Wings Go in the area. DUNDEE - The Dundee Police Department is attempting to identify a "quick change scam artist" who conned an employee Sunday at the Tim Hortons restaurant on Cabela Blvd. Police say $146 in cash was stolen during the Dundee incident. "The suspect may have targeted other Tim Hortons locations in the Detroit metro area as well," a report posted on the department's Facebook page said. He had gray sweatpants, black shoes and black gloves on, according to authorities.

ROSEVILLE, Mich. (CBS DETROIT) Roseville Police say two suspects robbed a Tim Hortons, forcing one employee into a freezer and demanding another employee to give them cash from the cash register. He had on black gloves and was wearing an all black hoodie with black face mask. He wore black sweat pants and possibly black shoes with a white wavy stripe down the outside (possibly puma shoes). He was wearing a blue hoodie with a black knit hat over the hood, grey sweatpants and black shoes with black gloves. Police said Monday afternoon there was no surveillance video at the time and the amount of cash taken is undetermined.

It previously forecast sales of more than $240 million.

After another disappointing quarter from Tim Hortons, the owner of the Canadian coffee chain shared more about its plans to reinvigorate the business. The majority of Tims customers pick up their coffee via a drive-thru. In July, the coffee chain opened its first "innovation cafe" in downtown Toronto similar to Starbucks' upscale Roastery locations. But the majority of these customers are using swipe cards, not the Tims' mobile app, to identify themselves as members. "Now, during this period, we may see a little pressure on [same-store sales growth] but we're confident long term that this is going to be a driver of traffic and profitable sales," Cil said.

The maker of vegan meat products reported a fiscal second-quarter net loss of $9.4 million, or 24 cents per share, wider than a net loss of $7.4 million, or $1.22 per share a year earlier. The loss was also wider than the 8 cents per share loss analysts surveyed by Refinitiv had expected.

CAIR-MI has filed a complaint for discrimination based on religion and country of origin on her behalf. On June 28 around 3 p.m. Kouider was with her husband, his parents and her sister at the Tim Hortons. Two customers and the Tim Hortons employee started arguing. A Tim Hortons employee can be seen and heard on video calling the woman a "b...." and telling her to go back to her own country.

CNNROCHESTER, New York (CNN) - A 3-year-old boy died after falling into a restaurant grease trap Monday morning in Rochester, New York, police said. The grease trap was covered with a green plastic lid -- much like a manhole cover -- that helped it blend into the surrounding grass, he said. The grease trap is 2-and-a-half feet in diameter, according to police. Camp said a witness found the child in the grease trap minutes after he was reported missing. The city is currently pouring concrete around the opening in the ground where the grease trap was located and putting a metal lid on it, according to Camp.
