The site was formerly home to Sebald’s Bakery. The new restaurant will be the first Buffalo Wild Wings Go in the area. A Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar is located at 2690 Tittabawassee Road in neighboring Kochville Township.

Restaurant Brands International on Tuesday reported that its quarterly revenue fell 8% as Burger King and Tim Hortons sales struggled to bounce back from the coronavirus pandemic. Popeyes, however, once again reported double-digit same-store sales growth, thanks to the popularity of its chicken sandwich. Burger King reported same-store sales declines of 7%, while Tim Hortons same-store sales fell by 12.5%. Popeyes, the only Restaurant Brands chain to report positive same-store sales growth, saw sales at restaurants open at least 17 months grow 17.4% in the quarter. Restaurant Brands announced plans to revamp thousands of its drive-thru lanes across its three brands, starting with 10,000 Burger King and Tim Hortons locations.

Tim Hortons is offering up a sweet treat for free this Halloween. Many favorite Halloween activities and traditions, including trick-or-treating, won’t be the same in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On Oct. 31, guests can trick-or-treat at their local Tim Hortons restaurant by visiting a Tim Hortons U.S. drive-thru in costume to receive a free Halloween doughnut. It is completely free to guests who come to the drive-thru dressed up in costume and is also available for purchase at the recommended price of $0.99. It’s no surprise to find pumpkin spice items everywhere you look this time of year. But Tim Hortons is taking fall festivities to the next level by offering a free pumpkin to anyone who purchases any pumpkin spice beverage through the Tim Hortons app. Guests simply need to open the Tim Hortons app, order a pumpkin spice beverage and show the app purchase when picking up and order to receive the free pumpkin. Tim Hortons pumpkin spice beverages include:Pumpkin Spice Latte - a creamy espresso-based beverage served either hot or cold with pumpkin spice syrup, topped with whipped cream and pumpkin spice syrup drizzle. Pumpkin Spice Iced Capp - a sweet and cold beverage with pumpkin spice syrup, topped with whipped cream and pumpkin spice syrup drizzle.

Burger King's Impossible Whopper may have built up buzz, but the plant-based burger wasn't enough to lift the chain's same-store sales growth as high as Wall Street estimates in the fourth quarter. Analysts surveyed by Refinitiv were expecting the burger chain to report U.S. same-store sales growth of 3.1% in the quarter. Last month, the burger chain added the Impossible Whopper to its popular 2 for $6 promotion. Burger King's Impossible Whopper typically sells for $1 to $2 more than a beef Whopper. "We know that the premium price point has limited some guests from trying the Impossible Whopper," Cil said.

DUNDEE, Mich. – Dundee police are looking for quick change scammer who conned more than $146 out of a Tim Hortons cashier Sunday. A quick change scam is when a customer pays for an inexpensive item with a big bill. The customer then distracts the cashier and says they want to pay for the item with a smaller denomination after they get their change back. It happens so quickly that a cashier may not realize they already gave the scammer their change back. Police believe the man may have targeted other Metro Detroit Tim Hortons locations, as well.

The incident happened Sunday at Tim Hortons, according to reports. DUNDEE - The Dundee Police Department is attempting to identify a "quick change scam artist" who conned an employee Sunday at the Tim Hortons restaurant on Cabela Blvd. Police say $146 in cash was stolen during the Dundee incident. "The suspect may have targeted other Tim Hortons locations in the Detroit metro area as well," a report posted on the department's Facebook page said. A video of the transaction is on the department's Facebook page; go to https://www.facebook.com/DundeePoliceDepartment.

ROSEVILLE, Mich. – An armed robber and a man carrying a plastic bag stole cash from a Tim Hortons restaurant in Roseville and then forced an employee into a freezer, officials said. One robber was described as a black man standing 6 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing 240 pounds. He was wearing an all-black hooded sweatshirt with a black face mask, black sweatpants and black shoes with a white wavy stripe down the outside, authorities said. The other robber was described as a black man standing 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing 180 to 200 pounds. He had gray sweatpants, black shoes and black gloves on, according to authorities.

ROSEVILLE, Mich. (CBS DETROIT) Roseville Police say two suspects robbed a Tim Hortons, forcing one employee into a freezer and demanding another employee to give them cash from the cash register. He had on black gloves and was wearing an all black hoodie with black face mask. He wore black sweat pants and possibly black shoes with a white wavy stripe down the outside (possibly puma shoes). He was wearing a blue hoodie with a black knit hat over the hood, grey sweatpants and black shoes with black gloves. Police said Monday afternoon there was no surveillance video at the time and the amount of cash taken is undetermined.

(AP Photo/Steve Helber, File)NEW YORK, NY Beyond Meat is facing a growing field of competitors but on Monday it raised its sales forecast for the year citing its leading role a new wave of vegetarian products intended to more closely mimic meat. It said McDonald's also recently announced a test of a Beyond Meat burger in Canada. The upbeat sales forecast comes as Beyond Meat and rival Impossible Foods are facing more competition, including from food industry giants like Nestle and Tyson that are also looking to tap into the demand for plant-based options. The fast-food chain didn't provide details on how much the burger contributed to U.S. sales, but said it sees momentum for continued growth for plant-based options. It previously forecast sales of more than $240 million.

After another disappointing quarter from Tim Hortons, the owner of the Canadian coffee chain shared more about its plans to reinvigorate the business. The majority of Tims customers pick up their coffee via a drive-thru. In July, the coffee chain opened its first "innovation cafe" in downtown Toronto similar to Starbucks' upscale Roastery locations. But the majority of these customers are using swipe cards, not the Tims' mobile app, to identify themselves as members. "Now, during this period, we may see a little pressure on [same-store sales growth] but we're confident long term that this is going to be a driver of traffic and profitable sales," Cil said.

Dunkin' is moving up the date of its nationwide launch of its Beyond Sausage sandwich after successful tests in Manhattan. The chain started testing the breakfast sandwich made with plant-based sausage from Beyond Meat in July in Manhattan locations. Initially, Dunkin' was planning on rolling out the menu item nationwide in January. Dunkin' is looking to replicate that success across the country with the permanent menu item. But nationwide launches of Beyond products do not guarantee that the item will be on menus forever.

Let the plant-based burger wars begin. It launched its own meatless burger nationwide in August, following the lead of Carl's Jr. and White Castle. Like Burger King, McDonald's will cook veggie burgers on the same grill as meat. On the flip side, plant-based burgers in the U.S. by McDonald's could put in a dent in Burger King. He's anticipating a plant-based burger test in the U.S. early next year.

But McDonald's is partnering with Beyond Meat on a plant-based burger in Canada. Shares of Beyond Meat surged 10% Thursday morning after McDonald's announced plans for a limited-time offering of a P.LT. Beyond Meat's stock, trading around $150, is now up about 500% from its initial public offering price of $25. It also has a deal with Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons, which is also owned by Burger King parent Restaurant Brands. If Beyond Meat is able to land a broader deal with McDonald's, that would be a big win for the company as the plant-based burger business heats up.

Beyond Meat shares fell sharply in extended trading Monday on news the company would embark on a secondary offering of 3.25 million shares only three months after its IPO. Shares initially rose on the earnings report, then fell sharply after the stock offering was announced. Shareholders plan to sell 3 million shares, while 250,000 shares will be offered by the company itself. The maker of vegan meat products reported a fiscal second-quarter net loss of $9.4 million, or 24 cents per share, wider than a net loss of $7.4 million, or $1.22 per share a year earlier. The loss was also wider than the 8 cents per share loss analysts surveyed by Refinitiv had expected.

Plant-based eggs have landed their first big fast-food deal, following in the footsteps of the plant-based burger trend. Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons is testing JUST Egg at locations in its home market. As we continue to test and get feedback, we will consider expanding plant-based options into other menu items." Sales of plant-based eggs reached $6 million in the year ending April 2019, according to data from the Plant Based Foods Association. The company said that it is partnering with major egg companies to collaborate on manufacturing and distribution.

Dunkin' is adding Beyond Meat to its menu, as the plant-based meat trend continues to gather steam. The coffee chain is offering a breakfast sandwich made with Beyond Sausage, starting with locations in Manhattan. Dunkin' is the first U.S. restaurant chain to add Beyond Sausage to its menu. Beyond's market share is only about 2%. Since its initial public offering in May, Beyond Meat's stock has surged nearly 700% as investors try to get in on the vegan meat craze.

YPSILANTI, Mich. - The Council on American Islamic Relations of Michigan filed a complaint Friday on behalf of a Muslim woman alleging dicrimination against Tim Hortons in Ypsilanti at 760 South Hewitt Road. CAIR-MI has filed a complaint for discrimination based on religion and country of origin on her behalf. On June 28 around 3 p.m. Kouider was with her husband, his parents and her sister at the Tim Hortons. Two customers and the Tim Hortons employee started arguing. A Tim Hortons employee can be seen and heard on video calling the woman a "b...." and telling her to go back to her own country.

CNNROCHESTER, New York (CNN) - A 3-year-old boy died after falling into a restaurant grease trap Monday morning in Rochester, New York, police said. The grease trap was covered with a green plastic lid -- much like a manhole cover -- that helped it blend into the surrounding grass, he said. The grease trap is 2-and-a-half feet in diameter, according to police. Camp said a witness found the child in the grease trap minutes after he was reported missing. The city is currently pouring concrete around the opening in the ground where the grease trap was located and putting a metal lid on it, according to Camp.
