Police arrest man seen on camera stealing Bentley from Southfield business
SOUTHFIELD – A man who was seen on camera stealing a $200,000 Bentley from a Southfield business has been arrested. PREVIOUS: Bentley stolen from Southfield business; police search for man caught on camera“The officers set up on a surveillance operation,” said Southfield Police Chief Elvin Barren. Police spotted a white Ford Escape -- the vehicle seen on camera that the suspect drove in to the business. The man got in the Escape attempting to make an escape; however, police surrounded him. Body cam footage shows the man getting out of the car and attempting to run away and was stopped by officers.

2 of 5 Brighton T-Mobile robbery suspects arrested after pursuit to East Lansing, police say

BRIGHTON, Mich. – Two of five men suspected of robbing a T-Mobile store in Brighton were arrested after the group led a pursuit involving seven different police departments to East Lansing, according to authorities. Five men walked into the T-Mobile store at 8712 West Grand River Avenue in Brighton around 1 p.m. Saturday, police said. A couple of hours after the incident, police said they recovered the stolen Fusion a short distance from the T-Mobile store.
FBI offers $10,000 reward in Detroit shooting that killed 2 parents, injured 3 children on July Fourth
DETROIT – The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of any suspects involved in a quintuple shooting that occurred in Detroit on July Fourth. Three unknown vehicles allegedly drove past the family’s vehicle while in the 8300 block of Homer Street in Detroit. Maybe a 2014 GMC Arcadia, a Burgundy Chevrolet Malibu and a darker color SUV, drove past. The children involved in the incident are doing well and being cared for by family members, according to Gonzales. Sometime soon, your car will park itself in urban garages

Ford, Bosch and real estate company Bedrock are teaming up to test technology that will let vehicles park by themselves in parking decks. The companies are testing the technology using floor-mounted sensors and computers that can control mainly existing features in the Ford Escape. Data would be gathered and problems worked out, and from there, the systems would spread to other smart garages with sensors and computers. So far Ford, Bosch and Bedrock have an agreement for the initial demonstration project, but are eyeing future deals.
$1,000 reward offered for information that leads to arrest in South Lyon crime spree
SOUTH LYON, Mich. – A $1,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in a number of South Lyon based crimes. Photos were captured of the people wanted for the crimes that happened Feb. 3 in South Lyon. At least a dozen unlocked vehicles were broken into and items including credit cards, wallets and chargers were taken. They attempted to use several of the stolen credit cards. Police say the three then attempted to use stolen credit cards at McDonalds and Walmart in Canton in addition to a Farmington Hills Speedway.
Highland Park police seek kidnapped 9-month-old girl
HIGHLAND PARK, Mich. - Police are looking for Lemonte Richawn Jackson on suspicion of kidnapping his 9-month-old daughter and assaulting the child's mother. According to the Highland Park Police Department, Jackson abducted Jhuvree Rose Leflore and assaulted her mother.
