In a recent report from The Action News, the 23-year-old ranked among the top 10 hardest-working players in the 2021-22 NBA season. Bey ranked ninth on the list that included Phoenix Suns forward Mikal Bridges, Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges and Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton. Monday’s game was the second-straight game that Bey has made 40 percent or more of his shots from three-point range. Cunningham, along with a hot third quarter from Jerami Grant, gave the Pistons (2-8) a spark in the second half to beat the Hoston Rockets 112-104. The Rockets (1-10) threatened the Pistons’ 14-point lead in the fourth quarter to get within one point with just over two minutes remaining in the game. With 4:37 seconds left in the game, Cunningham knocked down a three from the sideline to put Detroit up 103-96. He also helped get teammates into the right spots to knock down shots to put up 30 points in the fourth quarter. On top of his hot offensive night, Grant had five rebounds, three assists as well as two blocked shots.

He also had four steals to help get the Pistons plenty of opportunities in the third quarter when the Pistons’ offense had fallen stagnant. The Pistons, who have shot under 30 percent in their first three games, ended the night 13-of-39 from three. Eight players on the Pistons ended the night making at least one shot from three.
