The vote to certify Michigan’s election results officially awards the state’s 16 electoral votes to Joe Biden in the presidential election. Board member Norman D. Shinkle (R) abstained from voting after questioning the balance of votes in certain precincts, specifically in Detroit.

According to city officials Sunday, a department administrator is currently on a ventilator and sedated until his oxygen levels go up. City officials said Warren Police Department and District Court also have experienced significant spikes. All city employees will be tested and the court, city hall and police department will be disinfected. It is currently unknown when Warren City Hall will reopen.

According to authorities, Timothy Eugene Moore, a 34-year-old man from Toledo, was arraigned Sunday afternoon on one count of homicide at the 34th District Court in Romulus. Covington, 27, was shot and killed inside her Van Buren Township home on June 23, 2017. When her body was found, her hands were bound with Christmas lights and she had been shot in the head. UPDATE: Timothy Eugene Moore, 34 years old from Toledo, Ohio was arraigned this afternoon on one count of Homicide in the 34th District Court for the murder of Egypt Covington.
