Police are looking for four men wanted in connection with a series of businesses broken into Jan. 6, 2020. DETROIT โ Police are looking for four men wanted in connection with a series of burglaries and businesses broken into early Wednesday morning. According to authorities, between 2:50 a.m. and 3:30 a.m., several Detroit businesses were broken into. Police said a gas station near the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Mt. Police described the suspects as four Black men who were driving a white Dodge Charger with two black racing stripes on it.
Detroit police looking for missing 42-year-old man
DETROIT โ Detroit police are seeking the publicโs help in locating 42-year-old Steven Olson, who was last seen Sunday in the 400 block of Grand Boulevard, running south toward Jefferson. Police said Olson is described as between 5 feet 2 inches tall and 5 feet 6 inches tall, 140-165 pounds and black hair. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored baseball hat, brown jacket and jeans. Police: Woman, man shot while sitting in car on Detroits west side
DETROIT A woman and a man were sitting in a car Tuesday on Detroits west side when someone walked up and started shooting at them, police said. The shooting happened around 1 p.m. Tuesday on West Grand Boulevard near the Motown Museum, according to authorities. Multiple shots were fired into the vehicle.The 22-year-old woman and 28-year-old man were sitting outside a seniors center on West Grand Boulevard near 14th Street when the gunman walked up and opened fire, officials said. Hayes said a targeted shooting cant be ruled out because its still early in the investigation. Detroit police said the gunman walked up to the drivers side of the vehicle and started shooting.
Woodward Avenue is closing for parade in Downtown Detroit
DETROIT โ Woodward Avenue will be closed to vehicles between Grand Boulevard and Larned Street starting at noon Wednesday. The route will remain closed to traffic for Americaโs Thanksgiving Parade on Thursday in Detroit. It will reopen about 4 p.m. Thursday. The QLINE will remain in operation Wednesday, but it will be closed during the parade on Thursday.
