19-year-old Warren man killed in motorcycle crash in Clinton Township
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 19-year-old Warren man was killed in a collision between his motorcycle and a pickup truck on Tuesday. The crash happened in the area of Little Mack Avenue and Finley Street in Clinton Township at 3:26 p.m. Police said the Warren man was traveling south on Little Mack Avenue when he struck a truck turning onto Finley Street. The Warren man was transported to McClaren Hospital where he died from his injuries. The pickup truck driver was not injured in the incident. Family turns tragic Roseville collision into action, urges residents to not drink and drive
ROSEVILLE, Mich. A family spent hours in the scorching heat in Roseville to drive home an important message during the Independence Day weekend. In 2019, the family lost their 4-year-old in a suspected drunk driving crash. Friends and family members gathered at the intersection where the collision happened in hopes that drivers will think twice before driving under the influence. At about 11 p.m., the vehicles collided in the intersection of Little Mack Avenue and Masonic Road. At the time police said it was unclear which driver ran the red light, but suspected the other driver was under the influence.
I-94 road work to close multiple lanes this weekend
Weekend road repairs will close lanes on I-94 between Detroit and New Haven. Eastbound I-94 will be closed between Gratiot Avenue in Detroit and I-696 for weekend road repairs. During the closure, the detour for I-94 follows northbound Gratiot Avenue to eastbound I-696 and then back to eastbound I-94. MDOT says Eastbound I-94 will also close multiple lanes from Little Mack Avenue to 14 Mile Road for resurfacing. Only one lane will be open on eastbound I-94 between 21 Mile Road and New Haven Road from 4 a.m. Saturday to 5:30 p.m. Sunday for road maintenance, MDOT says.

St. Clair Shores police car hit by suspected drunken driver on I-94
ROSEVILLE, Mich. - A suspected drunken driver hit a St. Clair Shores police car while an officer was blocking traffic on I-94 for a crash early Sunday. Police said the officer was blocking the right and center lanes of westbound I-94 at Little Mack Avenue in Roseville about 3:10 a.m. when the car was hit. The driver who hit the police car, a 34-year-old man, is listed in serious condition at a local hospital.
