Nineteen-year old Donovan Anthony Harbus has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon, which is a five-year felony, and careless discharge of a firearm causing injury after he accidentally shot Owens during a small gathering. CPL holder released after fatal shooting linked to basketball game in Roseville
ROSEVILLE, Mich. – Police have released a CPL holder who shot and killed a man involved in an argument over a basketball game in Roseville, according to authorities. Shayqun Harvey, 26, was at Basketball City in the 16000 block of Eastland Street in Roseville around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 20), police said. He returned with a gun and was shot by a CPL holder who wasn’t involved in the argument, according to police. I can’t get him back.”Police reviewed the case with the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office and released the CPL holder from custody, they announced Thursday (Oct. 22). His family said he was also a CPL holder.

One person killed in shooting at Basketball City in Roseville
ROSEVILLE, Mich. – Police said one person was killed in a shooting Tuesday at Basketball City in Roseville. An individual left the building and then returned with a gun, firing shots at another person from the altercation. Police said a valid CPL holder intervened. The individual who had left and later returned was seriously injured and later pronounced dead at the scene. The valid CPL holder is currently in custody.
Pregnant woman shot in leg during road rage incident in Macomb County, police say
ROSEVILLE, Mich. – A pregnant woman was shot in the leg during a road rage incident in Macomb County, according to police. The shooting happened Tuesday at 10 p.m. Officers were dispatched to St. John Hospital on Moross for report of a woman that had been shot. The victim was the passenger of a blue 2006 Jeep Liberty that unintentionally cut off the suspected vehicle, police said. The shooting happened on Gratiot Avenue near Masonic Boulevard. The suspect is described as a Black woman who is between the ages of 18 and 25 years old.

Neighbor Edward Roberts said his daughter ran inside their home, yelling that someone got shot. Police said one of the guns accidentally went off, shooting the 17-year-old in the head. 19-year-old in custody after man found shot multiple times in the face in Roseville
ROSEVILLE, Mich. – One person is in custody after a man was shot in the face in Roseville, police said. The shooting happened after 3 p.m. on Thursday on Superior Street just north of 696. Police said when they arrived on scene they found a 45-year-old man who had been shot multiple times in his face. Suspected robber fatally shot at Wash Pointe Car Wash in Roseville
ROSEVILLE, Mich. – Police are investigating an attempted robbery that resulted in a fatal shooting that killed one of the accused robbers, Roseville police said. The shooting happened at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Wash Pointe Car Wash. Police say a 30-year-old man was at the car wash and was approached by two male suspects who revealed a handgun and attempted to rob the car wash patron. The car wash patron was armed and police said he “exchanged gunfire with one of the alleged robbers.” During the shooting, one of the robbers -- now identified as a 16-year-old boy from Detroit -- was shot and later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
