3rd person dies, 1 critical after northern Michigan shooting
ELBERTA, Mich. – A third person has died and a fourth remains in critical condition following a shooting at a home in northern Michigan’s Benzie County, police said. Undersheriff Gregory Hubers said one of the four people shot Friday died at the Munson Medical Center, where the remaining shooting victim was in critical condition, WPBN/WGTU-TV reported. Hubers said Friday that a mother and her adult son had died in Friday's shooting, while the father and another son were rushed to a hospital. Hubers said investigators believe the motive for the shooting stemmed from problems within the household. The shooting occurred in Elberta, a village tucked between Lake Michigan and Betsie Lake.
4 first responders placed on leave after 20-year-old Southfield woman declared dead, later found alive
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Four medics have been put on leave after a 20-year-old woman was declared dead and then found alive hours later. “She was breathing somewhat normal. So from all indication she was breathing somewhat normal, they told me it was because of the medication,” Beaucamp’s godmother said. The most alarming inaccurate statement is that a Southfield police officer placed Ms. Beauchamp in a body bag. Menifee said Southfield police arrived at about 8:07 a.m., and at 8:09 a.m., they announced that Beauchamp was dead and a physician was notified.

Detroit police seek two men wanted in connection with double non-fatal shooting
DETROIT – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating two men wanted in connection to a non-fatal shooting that happened on the city’s east side. The first suspect was seen exiting the vehicle and firing shots, striking the two victims, a 22 year old man and 42-year-old woman. Police say the first suspect re-entered the vehicle and both suspects fled the scene. He was armed and last seen wearing a black T-shirt, shorts, and light-colored shoes. The second suspect is described as a black male, and was last seen wearing a light-colored hooded sweater.
Man shot at Burger King in Ypsilanti Township critically injured
YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, Mich. A young man was shot and critically injured at a Burger King in Ypsilanti Township on Friday afternoon, police say. The victim is hospitalized. According to police, the shooting did not involve Burger King or anyone working there. As of now this is the only victim known to be involved in the shooting.
