PONTIAC, Mich. โ A Pontiac man shot his ex-girlfriendโs new boyfriend while the two were sitting inside a car, and then called his ex-girlfriendโs cellphone while she was being interviewed by police, according to deputies. A 21-year-old Pontiac woman told police that her ex-boyfriend, a 23-year-old Pontiac resident, had shot her current boyfriend, a 21-year-old Pontiac resident. While deputies were interviewing the 21-year-old woman, her ex-boyfriend called her cellphone and admitted to the shooting while on speakerphone, according to police. Officers spoke with the ex-boyfriend on a family memberโs cellphone and persuaded him to come outside without the pistol, according to police. The 21-year-old shooting victim is stable at McLaren Oakland Hospital.

Police say an ongoing dispute between Clay and the four victims led to the shooting that occurred at the Spring Lake Village apartment complex on Wednesday. The three men were all residents of Pontiac, officials said. Officials say an assault occurred among the five individuals back in 2014. Officials say the man was interviewed and then lodged at the Oakland County Jail.

PONTIAC, Mich. A drive-by shooting in Pontiac was caught on a home surveillance camera. The video shows two vehicles at the intersection of Mechanic Street and Roselawn Street. Two men from a grey vehicle got out and started shooting at a vehicle turning at the intersection. Two men inside were injured from broken glass. Oakland County sheriffs deputies are asking for help identifying the suspects.

Deputies were called to the 30 block of Bellmore Lane on the initial report of a shooting in the street involving several subjects. While investigating, officials got a call about a shooting victim that arrived at McLaren Oakland Hospital. The victim, an 18-year-old from Pontiac, told deputies that he was playing basketball in the street when he heard gunshots and felt pain to his side.
