Video: Suspect in stolen vehicle leads police on chase in Farmington Hills
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. โ Police arrested a man driving a stolen vehicle after he led officers on a chase in Farmington Hills. Dashcam video shows officers trying to stop the driver with their vehicles. Body cam footage shows officers chasing the man, even jumping over a fence. Police believed the suspect was armed after they retraced their steps the next day. โThe next morning, during daylight, investigators recovered a fully loaded handgun from the area believed to be involved in the incident,โ said Police Chief Jeff King.
Police find parents of newborn left at Sinai-Grace Hospital
DETROIT โ The mother and father of a newborn baby that was dropped off at DMC Sinai Grace Hospital in Detroit have been found. Police said a man pulled up to the hospital on Thursday, asked someone to hold the baby while he parked his vehicle and then drove away and did not return. Authorities said they were worried about the mother and located the parents thanks to a tip from the public. Police said the woman -- found at a home near the intersection of Lahser Road and Kessler Steet -- is OK.Police are still investigating to see the parents will face charges. It is not against the law to drop a newborn off at a safe place -- like a hospital or a fire station -- but the baby is supposed to given to an employee.

Man left newborn baby at DMC Sinai Grace Hospital in Detroit, police say
DETROIT โ Police are trying to identify and locate a man who dropped off a baby at DMC Sinai Grace Hospital in Detroit. A man pulled up to Sinai-Grace hospital in the 6000 block of West Outer Drive at 9:27 a.m. on Thursday, exited his vehicle and asked another person who was entering the hospital to hold the baby until he parked the vehicle. The man is described as a Black man in his late 40s or early 50s. Police said he is between 5 feet 10 inches tall or 6 feet 2inches tall and has a medium brown complexion. He was last seen wearing an unknown light-colored hate, light-colored short sleeve shirt and light-colored pants with the left leg of the pants pulled up.
Teen fatally shot while sitting in car at Runyon, Greiner in Detroit
DETROIT A 17-year-old boy was fatally shot Tuesday night in the area of Runyon and Greiner streets on Detroits west side. The victim was sitting in the drivers seat of his 2014 white Dodge Durango. A 2014 red Ford Fusion pulled up alongside the Durango and someone from inside the Fusion fired shots into the Durango, striking the teen. Driver shot to death at stop sign in Detroit
DETROIT โ A 31-year-old driver was killed Friday while stopped at a stop sign, Detroit police say. According to police, on Friday at around 8:30 p.m. the victim was stopped at a stop sign in a black Dodge Durango at the corner of Robson and Fenkell when a white vehicle pulled up and someone inside fired shots. The victim was struck and died at the scene. There is no information on possible suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 1-800-SPEAKUP.
3 Target stores in Wayne County broken into overnight
DEARBORN, Mich. โ Three Target stores were hit by thieves early Monday morning in Metro Detroit. The break-ins happened in Allen Park, Woodhaven and Dearborn. NEW: Thieves work quickly overnight to strike 3 Target stores in Metro DetroitPolice told Local 4 the thieves smashed the front door and made off with electronics. Authorities are looking for a silver Dodge Durango linked to the crimes. No arrests have been made.
