State says Downtown Plymouth restaurant violated 5 of Michigan’s COVID-19 rules

PLYMOUTH, Mich. – A restaurant in Downtown Plymouth has had its liquor license suspended after the state officials said it violated five of Michigan’s COVID-19 rules. State officials said the restaurant violated five COVID-19 restrictions:Allowed non-residential, indoor gatherings without requiring people to be seated at tables. The MLCC has suspended Greek Island Eatery’s Class C license and permits for Sunday sales (a.m. and p.m.), entertainment, the outdoor service area, direct connection and an additional bar. The restaurants actions increased the chance of COVID-19 spread, according to the state. Anyone who wants to report a business violating COVID-19 rules can file a complaint at 866-893-2121 or go to www.michigan.gov/lcc.

Plymouth Ice Festival 2021: Everything you need to know

PLYMOUTH, Mich. – The Plymouth Ice Festival will be held over the weekend, but there will be changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. About a quarter of the ice sculptures for the festival will be put up around Downtown Plymouth on Thursday. The festival runs from Feb. 12 through Feb. 14, 2021Click here for weather coverageIn order to promote social distancing, all of the sculptures will be spread throughout the streets of Downtown Plymouth, ear the business establishments. The Plymouth Downtown Development Authority is also hosting a scavenger hunt for visitors who can win some of the nearly $1,500 gift cards for Downtown Plymouth establishments. Police looking for man who stole from store in Downtown Plymouth

PLYMOUTH, Mich. – Police are trying to identify a man who allegedly stole from a Downtown Plymouth store. The man is accused of taking items from Earth Lore on Wing Street and Forest Avenue. Police did not specify when the theft occurred. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Plymouth Police Department at 734-453-1234, ext. 272 or ext.
