FEEL THE BERN

If you were riding on southeastern Michigan’s highways on Wednesday then you know exactly why I hate winter’s guts.

This Sunday is one of the great days in all of sports. We thought that last weekend would be one of the great days but the NFL divisional playoff games turned out to be a real meh.

The Detroit Lions have been a source of comfort and dismay to football fans in this area for decades. And much of the time, almost all of the time, its been dismay.

It was madness -- pure delightful madness. Not the bad kind of madness. The good kind.

The holidays are here but who’s got time for the holidays with what’s going on in the Detroit sports world?

If you’re looking for a one word answer to the question, can you or do you believe the Lions are for real, you’ll have to wait a moment. One word answers are great but that wouldn’t be much of a column. So let’s proceed.

The Lions will be in the Super Bowl this coming February in Glendale, Arizona, but only if they buy a ticket.

If you spent this past Sunday outside enjoying the nice weather then you missed it. It was the day that Aaron Rodgers of the Packers turned into Mr. Rogers of Sesame Street.

The Detroit Lions officially said goodbye to the 2022 regular season today.

Also, this was not the type of second season anyone was looking for from Dan Campbell.

Yes that’s right you missed the Lions like we all did.
