DETROIT -- The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating possible fuel pump failures in an estimated 600,000 Dodge Ram trucks, according to the Associated Press. However, no recall has been announced as the agency continues to look into the potential problem. The diesel fuel Ram trucks involved in the probe include Ram 2500, 3500, 4500 and 5500 heavy-duty trucks with 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel engines. The NHTSA says it has received 22 complaints and two field reports of engines stalling because the fuel pumps failed. A review of the complaints determined the trucks will stop above 25 miles per hour when the pump fails, disabling the trucks from working properly.mlive.com

DETROIT – Witnesses reported two vehicles exchanging gunfire while speeding down I-96 about 10 p.m. Monday. One of them was struck by another vehicle on I-96 while trying to flee the scene of the crash on foot. 12-year-old girl, father killed in crash with commercial truck, another child injured
SHELBY TOWNSHIP, MI -- A 12-year-old girl and her father were killed after the Dodge truck they were traveling in was in an accident with a commercial truck at the intersection of Van Dyke and 21 Mile Road. According to Fox 2 Detroit, an early investigation found the 45-year-old father was driving the truck northbound on Van Dyke when he turned left in front of the commercial truck that was traveling southbound on Van Dyke. Another 12-year-old who was in the Dodge truck was also injured in the accident and suffered serious injuries in the crash. The driver of the commercial truck was interviewed by detectives at the scene and released as the investigation is ongoing. DETROIT – Police are searching for the driver of a Dodge Challenger that fatally struck a motorcyclist early Tuesday morning on southbound I-75 in Detroit. 54-year-old man injured by unknown shooter while driving in Detroit
DETROIT A 54-year-old man was shot at 2 a.m. Saturday in the 8800 block of Wyoming in Detroit, police say. 2 men struck by Dodge Challenger in Royal Oak Township hit-and-run, police say
ROYAL OAK TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Two men were struck by a Dodge Challenger early Wednesday morning in a Royal Oak Township hit-and-run crash, police said.
