The convicted Oxford High School shooter is in jail, waiting to be sentenced for the 24 felonies he pleaded guilty to last year.

The accused Oxford High School shooter is expected to plead guilty to 24 charges on Monday.

Police believe a 19-year-old suspected shooter who killed three people and injured a fourth on Sunday in Detroit would have continued his shooting spree had he not been caught.

The suspected Oxford High School shooter is scheduled to virtually appear in court Thursday morning to confirm his placement at the Oakland County Jail, where he awaits trial for the fatal Nov. 30 mass shooting.

A Burton police officer and a Genesee County deputy were shot Tuesday while investigating a shooting, and the suspected shooter has been killed, according to authorities.

Four students were killed, six students were injured and one teacher was injured Tuesday when a 15-year-old sophomore fired several shots from a handgun at Oxford High School.

Salam Asmar, 21, has been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting that took place Friday, May 21 inside of a plaza on 14 Mile and Ryan roads in Warren.

The Warren Police Department continued its search for an unknown shooter on Saturday.

According to authorities, a teenager had been shot and the suspected shooter has been barricaded inside a home on 14 Mile Road, near Main Street and Washington Avenue. Police have surrounded the home and have been trying to talk the suspected shooter out. Investigators are asking anyone who might have seen or heard anything related to the case to speak out. DETROIT – Police are searching for a gunman and three other people wanted in connection with a fatal Coney Island shooting that happened Sunday, Jan. 10 at around 2:50 a.m. in the 13300 block of 14th Street in Detroit. According to police, the 22-year-old victim got in a verbal argument with three men inside the restaurant. The three men left the location and then shortly afterward another person came inside the restaurant and started shooting at the victim. DETROIT – Police are searching for an unknown shooter who injured a 43-year-old man on Saturday, Oct. 25 during a shooting. The shooting happened around 6:50 p.m. in the 14300 block of Maddelein Street in Detroit. Police say the victim was getting out of his car when shots were fired by the shooter from the inside of an unknown vehicle. The victim suffered a grazed wound and was released at the scene by medics. According to police, the victim walked up to an older model truck and began talking to a man inside. The victim was about to sell the man inside the truck marijuana, according to police. As the victim was standing and talking, another man got out of the truck, took the marijuana and then shot him. The first suspect is described as a Black man in his 20s who was wearing all black. The second suspect is described as a Black man in his 20s who was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, light colored pants and armed with a handgun.

DETROIT Police are searching for suspected gunman on Detroits east side, near the intersection of Gratiot Avenue and Seven Mile Road. According to authorities, the alleged gunman shot his neighbor in the leg Wednesday morning and then barricaded himself inside his own home. When police entered the house on Liberal Street, the suspected gunman was not inside. Its believed he escaped through a back window. The investigation is ongoing.

DETROIT A 23-year-old Detroit man was killed by an unknown shooter Saturday at 7:45 p.m. in the area of Georgia and Erwin, police say. The shooting happened after the victim was driving a 2005 Ford Focus in the area and hit a tree. After the crash, an unknown person driving a black Jeep Compass got out of the vehicle and started firing shots at the victim. Police say the shooter fled the scene traveling eastbound on Bessemore. DETROIT – Two people were shot in the 19100 block of Stahelin in Detroit Monday afternoon, according to Detroit police. Both of the victims, a 16-year-old male and 46-year-old male, are in stable condition. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown. According to police the two victims were inside a car in the area when someone walked up to it and started firing shots at them.
