Value City Furniture will be hosting a hiring event on Dec. 18 in Novi, Michigan to fill the positions, which include assistant manager, sales manager, warehouse and home furnishing consultant. This year, Value City Furniture has taken over six new locations across the state of Michigan, all of which were former ArtVan stores. According to an announcement, Value City Furniture is committed to hiring former ArtVan and Loveโs employees.

He said he was attacked in his own store on Thursday. He has released video and photos of the customer he said attacked him. Im not going to let anyone attack me in my store anymore, Faye said. Pandemic leads 7-Eleven to forgo free Slurpees on 7-11
DALLAS The coronavirus pandemic has taken away another summertime tradition in the U.S.: There will be no free Slurpees at 7-Elevens on Saturday -- July 11 -- to hail a date that doubles as an abbreviation of the convenience store chains name. 7-Eleven has been giving away its slushy beverage to all customers for nearly 20 years on July 11, but it scrapped the promotion this summer to reduce the risk of people flocking to its stores and risking contracting the coronavirus (COVID-19). The Dallas-based chain instead decided to donate 1 million meals to Feeding America, a hunger relief group. The roughly 33 million people who had 7-Elevens membership app installed on their smartphones as of July 1 are also eligible for a free medium Slurpee at any time this month. With sports on hold, one local businessman decided to open his sport memorabilia shop Friday for curbside pickup. While sports memorabilia isnโt essential, John Yu said the feeling of going to work is essential to him. Yu owns Pro Sports Zone inside the Laurel Place Mall on Six Mile Road in Livonia. Yu said he built his business on personal relationships with his customers and while he could try to sell his memorabilia online, it is not the same. โI like to do that personal touch with my customers," Yu said.

Everything in the store has a 4-star or better rating from shoppers, and there are plenty of various items for sale. If you are an Amazon Prime member, certain items have discounted โPrime Pricesโ, which is similar to the website. This is one out of 12 brick and mortar Amazon stores in the country, plus you can sign up to be a Prime member there, if you arenโt all ready.
Next wave of store closures includes 2 Metro Detroit Kmart locations
WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. โ The last remaining Metro Detroit Kmart stores are closing. The Waterford Township and Warren stores will close their doors for good. The Marshall store is the only Michigan store that will remain open. The newest closures come after eight Michigan Kmart closings were announced in September.
