LENOX TOWNSHIP, MI – Police believe they know the location of the body of a 17-year-old girl who has been missing for months – a landfill in Lenox Township near Detroit, The Associated Press reports. Investigators believe her body was put in a dumpster, which was eventually emptied at the landfill, the report said. “I wish I could get into the specifics and details,” Detroit police Commander Michael McGinnis told reporters at a news conference on Thursday. “If I could, you’d all be as disgusted as we are with this case.”Foster’s cousin Jaylin Brazier, 23, is in prison for lying to police during the investigation. LENOX TOWNSHIP, MI – A man and a woman were arrested overnight in Macomb County in connection to a gas station shooting, carjacking, and a police chase that included ramming patrol vehicles, WDIV Local 4 reports. Macomb County responded to a report of shots fired and a carjacking around 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 25, to the Shell gas station at the Shell gas station at 3787 26 Mile Road in Lenox Township, the TV station reports. A man and woman allegedly fired shots at someone, stole his 2008 Pontiac G6 and then fled on 26 Mile Road; the victim was not injured, the report said. Chesterfield Township officers found the vehicle traveling westbound I-94 near 23 Mile Road. The suspects were taken into custody on charges of attempted murder, carjacking, resisting and obstructing officers, fleeing and eluding, and carrying a concealed weapon, the report said.

1 dead after multi-vehicle crash in St. Clair County
CASCO TOWNSHIP, MI -- A 58-year-old Lenox Township man died in a three-vehicle crash in St. Clair County’s Casco Township Sunday, according to police. Deputies from the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office were called shortly before 4:30 p.m. Sunday, June 6, to the 9900 block of Marine City Highway for an injury accident. The Nisan spun into the westbound lane and was hit by a 2011 Dodge Avenger driven by a 26-year-old man from Flint. The 58-year-old Lenox Township man was pronounced dead at the scene. Ira Township Fire and Rescue assisted the county sheriff’s office at the scene of the crash.

25-year-old bicyclist struck by car, killed in Macomb County
(WDIV)LENOX TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A 25-year-old bicyclist was struck by a car and killed Thursday while riding during the early morning hours in Macomb County. Lawton Monroe, of Casco Township, was biking around 5:20 a.m. Thursday on County Line Road near 27 Mile Road, police said. Monroe and a silver 2005 Mercury Sable were both going south on County Line Road when the car struck him, according to authorities. When Macomb County deputies arrived at the scene, Monroe was pronounced dead. Macomb County officials are still investigating the crash.
