With award-winning steaks and fresh seafood, The Vault on First in Wyandotte, is re-inventing a historic bank building into a classic restaurant experience. Co-owner Chris Doulos says they strive to satifsy their customers, “If somebody wants something that isn’t on our menu, we will absolutly make if for you.”

Let’s be real, we are almost midway through August which means summer is wrapping up soon, but it’s not over yet! He always wanted to do seafood, he was a big Key West guy too, so we came up with this concept together, and it’s been a dream come true. " They wanted to blend those Key West Vibes with Michigan tastes, taking classic seafood dishes and giving them a twist. Michigan fish like walleye are on the menu as well, but you can also get blackened grouper and shrimp. There is a nod to Key West with pictures of Ernest Hemingway, a famous author who called Key West home, which are framed in old lobster traps. H2O Seafood is located at 3233 Biddle Avenue in Wyandotte.
An award-winning chef opens a new restaurant in the D
Jared Gadbaw co-owner and award-winning chef of Oak & Reel talked about his return back to the D and what you can expect at his new restaurant. Oak & Reel focuses on seafood and incorporates yummy, Italian flavors, and sides. Chef Gadbaw says guests will have extra legroom.
