DETROIT โ The family of a 37-year-old man is seeking answers three years after he was shot and killed on Detroitโs southwest side. According to Crime Stoppers of Michigan, Gary Williams received a call from an unknown person about attending a birthday party for a mutual friend. Crime Stoppers said Williams was a Michigan native and resided in Arizona for six years prior to his death. The incident happened at about 1:42 a.m. in a parking lot behind an apartment building in the 17000 block of E. 11 Mile Road near Groveland Street. It is believed that he was in the parking lot to meet an unknown person, according to Crime Stoppers.

DETROIT โ A Detroit family is seeking justice nearly two years after a 21-year-old man was shot and killed. Dion Bridges was shot at a home on July 4, 2019, on Schoenherr Street near East Seven Road. Family members said Bridges was at a barbecue when someone started shooting from a nearby alley. Bridgesโ mother Jerreece Bridges is asking anyone with information to come forward. The person out there who knows they did this, I donโt know how they can live with themselves,โ Jerreece Bridges said.
