FARMINGTON HILLS, MI -- A man wanted in connection with numerous reports of prowling was arrested last week after police used a drone to track him into the woods near I-696 and Orchard Lake Road. Farmington Hills Police say Kenton Driscoll was arraigned this week in 47th District Court on a charge of prowling after he was allegedly seen lurking in the yards and looking into the windows of several homes in the community over recent weeks. Surveillance video from one home shows a man who looks like Driscoll peering into the windows of a home during the nighttime. Several other reports had been made to the police about similar incidents and police determined Driscoll was a suspect.

Kenton Driscoll has been arrested for allegedly lurking in yards and peeping through windows on multiple occasions.

Farmington Hills police arrested a “serial prowler” who has been lurking in the yards of residents around Oakland County and peering through their windows at night, officials said.

A Farmington Hills resident shot a Southfield man in the parking lot of a gas station and then called 911 to report the incident, police said.

Sylvan Table is a new restaurant that sits on five acres of land just off Orchard Lake Road, which also includes its own farm that produces fruit, vegetables, greens, and bees. WEST BLOOMFIELD, Mich. A police chase in West Bloomfield ended with a crash in the middle of a neighborhood. Police said the driver was going 77 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone. When police tried to initiate a traffic stop they said he refused to pull over. Police chased the driver on Orchard Lake Road, where officers eventually pinned him in and arrested him. He has been charged with fleeing and eluding and driving with a suspended license.

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – An Oakland County restaurant wants to track down the couple that took its hand sanitizing station. UPDATE -- July 13, 2020 -- The hand sanitizing station has been returned. The security camera catches it all -- a man and woman walk into the restaurant and use the hand sanitizing station. Harshavrdhan Krishna said the sanitizer station took two months to get from Canada and cost the business $300. Krishna said it’s not how much the sanitizer station cost, it’s about piece of mind in the middle of a pandemic.

WEST BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. A barber showed up to his stop ready to cut and sweep up hair but was forced to sweep up glass instead. A car had crashed through the front windows of Mr. Barber on Orchard Lake Road, near 15 Mile Road. Surveillance video captured the collision Friday night. The barber shop is boarded up and closed. The driver is expected to be OK.

The break-in happened around 6 p.m. Friday at a home on Pebble Court in the subdivision near Orchard Lake and 11 Mile roads, officials said. Two men were caught on video breaking into the home before police arrived, authorities said. The other man was black, in his 20s and wearing a black shirt with orange writing, officials said. The crash happened around 10 p.m. Sunday on 12 Mile Road, west of Orchard Lake Road, officials said. Witnesses told police the woman and child were crossing the road when they were struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene, according to authorities. Farmington Hills police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward and provide information.
