19-year-old injured in shooting outside of bowling alley in St. Clair Shores, police say
ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. – A 19-year-old Eastpointe resident was shot during an incident near a bowling alley in St. Clair Shores. Police said they received a 911 call reporting shots fired at the Harbor Lanes Bowling Center on Tuesday at 8:52 p.m. When officers arrived on the scene they found one vehicle that had been struck by gunfire. Another vehicle was also struck by gunfire but had fled the scene. Anyone with information should contact St. Clair Shores Detective Bureau at 586-445-5305.
3 men in custody after multi-vehicle crash in Romulus
ROMULUS, Mich. – Three men are in custody after a multi-vehicle crash in Romulus. Michigan State Police were called to the area of I-275 and Eureka Road on the report of a three-vehicle hit-and-run crash. Police said a black Chrysler 300 crashed in the middle of Eureka Road, over I-275. A trooper at the scene approached the car, opened the rear passenger door and found a man with a loaded .233 pistol. A Romulus officer removed the front-seat passenger and located a loaded 9mm pistol in his waistband.

While officers were talking with the complainant, officials say the suspected shooter drove by them in a Black Chrysler 300. Police say officers were pursuing the fleeing suspect on foot when he allegedly fired multiple shots at the officers and continued running. The Chrysler 300 was later found unoccupied in the 600 block of Farmbrook Street, officials said.

Security camera captures video of deadly shooting at River Rouge gas station
RIVER ROUGE, Mich. – A security camera captured video of a River Rouge gas station shooting that left a man dead earlier this week. The video shows three people getting out of a silver Chrysler 300, walking over to another and firing shots around 6 p.m. Monday at the gas station on Visger Road between Jefferson Avenue and Fort Street. His family identified him as Alex Minor, of River Rouge. The owner of the gas station, Emad Saleh, said the gunmen then sped up the street to get to Minor’s girlfriend, who was in another car with children inside. You can hear from Minor’s cousin and Saleh in the video posted above.
48-year-old man killed when driver fleeing police disregards red light, police say
At the time, it was broadcast to other officers that the suspect was driving a white Chrysler 300. The 48-year-old man was transported to a local hospital where he was pounced dead. The woman, who is 19 years old, driving the Chrysler 300 was taken into custody. A 21-year-old man was in the back seat of the Chrysler 300 and he was also taken into custody. Two other occupants, a 15-year-old girl and a 33-year-old man, are also being treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
24-year-old man carrying pistol without license arrested on Groesbeck Highway in Warren
WARREN, Mich. A 24-year-old Madison Heights man without a concealed pistol license was arrested Wednesday night in Warren after state troopers located a 9 mm pistol during a traffic stop, Michigan State Police said. State police said troopers spotted the man driving recklessly in a Chrysler 300 at about 11:40 p.m. on Groesbeck Highway. During the traffic stop, open containers were found as well as the pistol with a 30-round magazine. State police said the man then fought with troopers upon being arrested. The man was taken to Macomb County Jail and charged with carrying a concealed weapon, resist and obstruct officer, reckless driving, no insurance and open toxicants pend pros review.
Amber Alert issued for missing 15-year-old girl in Grand Traverse County
GARFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. An Amber Alert has been issued in Grand Traverse County after a 15-year-old girl went missing on Sunday afternoon. Anna Mae Taylor of Garfield Township is believed to be in the company of a male named Brandon Reyes, who is also from Garfield Township, officials shared in a Facebook post. Taylor is described as standing 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighting 110 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes. Reyes is described as standing 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing 110 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. Amber Alert for 1-year-old abducted at gunpoint in Southfield canceled
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – An Amber Alert for a 1-year-old police say was abducted at gunpoint on Monday has been canceled. Officials say the 1-year-old child, Jaliyah Ford, was abducted by the alleged father, Jeremy Ford. Police did not say whether the father was in custody. The man and abducted child were traveling in a black Chrysler 300 with the Michigan license plate “EGA6057”. 12-year-old boy critically injured when car crashes into semi truck trailer on I-94 in Dearborn
DEARBORN, Mich. – A 12-year-old boy suffered critical injuries during a crash Friday morning on eastbound I-94 in Dearborn. Two lanes on eastbound I-94 have been blocked for hours near Schaefer Highway. Police said the Chrysler crashed into the truck when the truck was getting up to speed when entering eastbound I-94 from Schaefer Highway. The female driver of the Chrysler suffered serious injuries to her legs, police said. The truck driver was not hurt.
