Springsteen was arrested Nov. 14 in a part of the Gateway National Recreation Area on the New Jersey coast, a spokesperson for the National Park Service confirmed Wednesday. Springsteen received citations for driving while under the influence, reckless driving and consuming alcohol in a closed area. While during Sunday's Super Bowl, he appeared in a Jeep ad filmed in Kansas that urged people to find common ground. But the company said, “it’s also right that we pause our Big Game commercial until the actual facts can be established."

Revamped Detroit auto plant to start making new Jeep by March

DETROIT – A revamped version of the Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV with three rows of seats will roll off the assembly line this spring at a restored Detroit factory complex. Fiat Chrysler unveiled the Grand Cherokee L on Thursday and said production would start by the end of March. It hired 3,850 people to work at the company's first new auto plant in Detroit in nearly three decades. Current versions of the Grand Cherokee are now being built at FCA's Jefferson North plant in Detroit. Once Detroit Assembly is up and running, Jefferson North will be converted to build the new versions, FCA said.

At 10:20 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 7, a trooper from the Michigan State Police Cadillac Post was dispatched to a vehicle fire on M-115 near 21 ½ Road in Antioch Township, Wexford County. According to authorities, Macomb County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched at about 8 a.m. to the San Remo Villa Apartment complex on Union Lake Road on reports of a vehicle fire. Harrison Township Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. Police said they located Parham in a vehicle that matched the description of the suspect vehicle. Parham was taken into custody, checked out medically, and lodged at the Macomb County Jail.

Tribute held for Monroe County Animal Control officer who died after multiple-car crash

MONROE, Mich. A tribute for a fallen Monroe County Animal Control Officer was held on Thursday. Darrian Young, 24, was working the morning of June 4 when a drunk driver ran a red light and smashed her vehicle. Officer Young was an enthusiastic, energetic, animal lover who had a particular passion for horses, the Monroe County Sheriffs Office said in a statement. Downriver Jeep clubs decided there was a way to honor Young and support her family. Money raised from the convoy will go toward a memorial fund to benefit the animal control.

PONTIAC, Mich. - A 15-year-old girl was arrested and four male teenagers were detained after shots were fired from a Jeep in Oakland County in retaliation for an earlier incident, police said. Witnesses told authorities a woman was shooting a handgun from a silver Jeep Commander, police said. Deputies said they arrived at the scene and learned the shooting was in retaliation for an earlier incident. Authorities saw the Jeep heading south on Cesar Chavez Boulevard near Johnson Street at a high speed, police said. One of the passengers, a 15-year-old Pontiac girl, told deputies she had fired a handgun and it was still in the Jeep, according to authorities.
