FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. โ A couple was arrested by Farmington Hills police Wednesday, accused of breaking into about 30 businesses across Metro Detroit. The man and woman have children together and police said they brought the children with them in their car while they committed crimes. The officer knew there were people breaking into multiple businesses, night after night, and he stopped the car. Police said a hammer was found inside the car and the couple admitted they had been spending nights driving with their children, breaking into businesses and grabbing about $100 each time. One person ran away from responding officers and is described as a Black man in his 20s, of medium height. He was wearing black jogging pants with a white stripe down the side and carrying a black backpack. Police said there are no reports of any injuries and no information that indicates thereโs a threat to the public. Farmington Hills police investigating suspicious man who approached child

The Farmington Hills Police Department is investigating a report of a suspicious person who approached a child on Sunday at around 4 p.m. in the area of Dohany Drive in a subdivision between Power Road and Ten Mile Road. The child refused and left the area to contact a parent who called 911. The child reported that the man drove away as he left the area. 2 men wanted for breaking into home in Farmington Hills subdivision, police say
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. โ Police are searching for two men who were caught on video breaking into a home in a Farmington Hills subdivision, according to authorities. The break-in happened around 6 p.m. Friday at a home on Pebble Court in the subdivision near Orchard Lake and 11 Mile roads, officials said. Two men were caught on video breaking into the home before police arrived, authorities said. The other man was black, in his 20s and wearing a black shirt with orange writing, officials said. 2 arrested by Farmington Hills police on suspicion of possession of stolen vehicle
Officers were dispatched at 3:48 a.m. Friday to the area of Pine Cone Drive and Mystic Forest Drive near 14 Mile and Haggerty Road after a resident reported a car alarm was going off. FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - Farmington Hills police arrested two men Friday on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle and larceny from auto. When officers arrived in the area, they located an occupied vehicle that had been reported stolen June 17 in Madison Heights. The two occupants of the stolen vehicle, an 18-year-old Detroit resident and a 19-year-old Detroit resident, were taken into custody. Evidence recovered from the stolen vehicle was linked to a larceny from a vehicle near where the Detroit residents were found in addition to recent thefts from vehicles in Wixom and Livonia.
