Lincoln Park police looking for endangered child last seen with mother who does not have custody
LINCOLN PARK, Mich. – Police in Lincoln Park are asking for anyone with information on a missing child to come forward. Jessica Haley-Rose Miller was last seen with her mother two weeks ago. Her mother is Kimberlee Michelle Miller, 38, and she does not have custody of the child. Miller picked Jessica up at 1674 Buckingham Ave. Lincoln Park, MI 48146 and left on a motorcycle with an unknown male. They could be un an unknown white pickup truck or a white motorcycle, police said.
3-year-old girl taken by her mother found safe, Oakland County deputies say
OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said 3-year-old girl Queen Norton, who was reported missing from Pontiac, has been found safe. Deputies said 3-year-old Queen is with relatives in Georgia and her mother, Shanitra Seay, was arrested by the Atlanta Police Department and will be extradited to Oakland County. Michigan State Police issued an Endangered Missing Advisory for the child on Monday. Police said she was in her father’s car when her mother, Shanitra Seay, stole the vehicle with the child inside. 2-year-old abducted by father in Gibraltar found safe
GIBRALTAR, Mich. – Police have located 2-year-old Justice Kelly who was taken by his father from a Gibraltar home Wednesday night, violating a personal protection order against him for domestic violence. A ring doorbell camera captured the screaming of the boy’s older sister as her stepfather, Maurice Kelly, took him from the mother’s home. Michigan State Police put out an Endangered Missing Advisory with the vehicle description Wednesday. The Endangered Missing Advisory has been canceled. Mother of D’Wan Sims dies without answers in son’s 1994 disappearance
LIVONIA, Mich. – Local 4 has been following the disappearance of D’Wan Sims for nearly 26 years. After years of tips, clues and dead ends, his mother, Dwanna Wiggins moved to North Carolina, where she passed away Monday. “He was never in any of those videos.”Since then, Wiggins moved to North Carolina and denied she had any involvement with her son’s disappearance. About a year ago, a man claimed on social media that he was D’wan Sims. Police said D’wan Sims deserves justice and they’re asking anyone with new information about this case to contact the Livonia Police Department at 734-466-2470.
Family of 2-year-old boy found wandering streets alone in Detroit has been located
DETROIT – Detroit police said a 2-year-old boy was found Monday wandering the streets alone on the city’s west side. The child’s family was located before 1 p.m. on Monday. A resident saw the boy around 7:50 a.m. Monday walking around in the 8200 block of Asbury Park without supervision and crying, according to authorities. That person took the boy to the Detroit Police Department’s Sixth Precinct. Police said the child’s mother fell asleep and the child wandered out of the house.
Melvindale police seek assistance locating family of child found wandering
MELVINDALE, Mich. – The Melvindale Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating the family of a boy found wandering. “Anyone know this child? He was found wandering near Palmer and Oakwood,” asked the Melvindale Police Department in a Facebook post written Saturday morning. Michigan Amber Alert canceled: 2-year-old Lansing Township boy found safe
An Amber Alert issued Monday morning for a 2-year-old boy from Lansing Township has been canceled. They had been searching for 2-year-old Phoenix Javon Washington is believed to have been taken by 26-year-old Phoenix Washington. They were reported missing Monday morning from 3209 West Michigan Avenue in Lansing Township. 10-year-old Detroit boy missing
DETROIT – Police are searching for 10-year-old Imarri Graham who was last seen around 2:30 a.m. at his home in the 17800 block of Annott in Detroit on Sunday. He walked away from the home and went to a friend’s house in the 11800 block of Greiner in Detroit then left that location. He went missing while wearing a white shirt and tan pants. 5-day-old Michigan boy found after going missing
EMMETT TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Michigan State Police have located a 5-day-old boy named Jeffrey Michael Smith Jr. who was reported missing Saturday morning. Initially, police reported the child went missing with his biological father, Jeffrey Michael Smith Sr. He went missing wearing a gray onesie with small teddy bears on it. The child did not have any food or additional clothing when he went missing. Emmett Township is near Battle Creek, Michigan.
Body of missing Downriver boy who disappeared during fishing trip found in Huron River
SOUTH ROCKWOOD, Mich. – The body of a 6-year-old boy who was missing after a fishing trip with his father last month was found Friday, police said. A relative who was looking for Jaxon Oaks found a body in the Huron River. The body was identified as Jaxon after authorities pulled him from the water. UPDATE: Body of missing Downriver boy who disappeared during fishing trip found in Huron RiverJustin Oaks, 29, and his son, Jaxon, 6, left their home at about 9:45 a.m. on March 29 and launched their boat from the Downriver Marina and Campground in South Rockwood. Members of the Downriver Dive Team assembled and recovered the body from the river. The body was positively identified as Justin Oaks. Jaxon Oaks is still missing and is described as about 4 feet, 5 inches tall.
Search for missing father, son continues after boat pulled from Huron River a week after pair disappeared
SOUTH ROCKWOOD, Mich. – Police are searching for a missing father and son after pulling the pair’s boat from the Huron River on Sunday. Flat Rock police, Brownstown police, Rockwood police, volunteers and the Great Lakes Water Recovery removed the boat from the river. A boat belonging to a missing father and son was pulled from the Huron River on April 5, 2020. He was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket. He was last seen wearing a tan vest and blue jeans.
Detroit police seek missing 14-year-old girl who left home at 2 a.m.
DETROIT – Detroit police are looking for a 14-year-old girl who left her home on the west side at 2 a.m. Thursday. Saniya Cole Black’s mother said the girl took clothes with her from her home in the 9000 block of Evergreen Road. She is about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs about 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white coat with brown fur collar, burgundy stretch pants and Jordan gym shoes that are white, burgundy and black.
