OTTAWA COUNTY, MI – Police are investigating a late-night burglary at Tele-Rad, a communications business in Holland Township. Ottawa County sheriff’s deputies responded to an alarm at 11:52 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, at the business at 511 E. Eighth St. They left in a vehicle that had been reported stolen in Grand Rapids, sheriff’s deputies said. Holland police assisted sheriff’s deputies in the investigation. Though his photos are impressive, one military veteran -- known for his daring photo shoots -- says his photography has landed him in jail. Known as “Driftershoots” online and on Instagram, the veteran says he has been traveling as a photographer “nonstop” since April 2020. Police seek suspects in series of burglaries on Detroit’s east side
Police are looking for four men wanted in connection with a series of businesses broken into Jan. 6, 2020. DETROIT – Police are looking for four men wanted in connection with a series of burglaries and businesses broken into early Wednesday morning. According to authorities, between 2:50 a.m. and 3:30 a.m., several Detroit businesses were broken into. Police said a gas station near the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Mt. Police described the suspects as four Black men who were driving a white Dodge Charger with two black racing stripes on it.
Police investigate burglary of Midland couple by masked intruders
MIDLAND, MI — Police in Midland are investigating a burglary similar to one that recently occurred in Saginaw Township in which residents were tied up by masked intruders. The burglars tied up the couple and went about ransacking the house, McMillan said. A similar burglary occurred shortly after 8 p.m. on Dec. 9 in Saginaw Township. That incident saw two masked intruders tie up a married couple and make off with cash as well. According to authorities, someone attempted to break into Uncoiled Firearms and Gun Range, located near the intersection of Middlebelt and Schoolcraft roads, Thursday morning, but were unable to get inside the building after throwing a rock at a window. MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. – Local 4 has learned new information in a Thursday morning police shooting that left a man in critical condition. Warren police said a burglary suspect made a promise he wasn’t going back to jail before he tried to run officers over. Everything started at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday at the Knights Inn on Dequindre Road, on the Warren and Madison Heights border. “He’s responsible for these business burglaries in different cities including Warren, Frazier, Clinton Township,” said Commissioner Bill Dwyer with Warren Police. But Warren Police Commissioner Bill Dwyer said when officers moved in, he attacked.

Masked burglars tie up Saginaw Township couple during home invasion, police say
SAGINAW TWP, MI — Police are investigating a burglary that saw a Saginaw Township couple tied up as intruders rummaged through their home. Saginaw Township Police Chief Donald F. Pussehl Jr. said that shortly after 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 9, officers responded to a home invasion report in the 4100 block of Windemere Drive. The couple had heard a noise from their attached garage, followed shortly by two masked men entering their home, Pussehl said. The intruders tied the couple’s hands with clothing and demanded money, then proceeded to rummage through their house and drawers, Pussehl said. 49 guns stolen from Michigan gun store, $5,000 reward offered for information
ALPENA, Mich. – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the National Shooting Sports Foundation are offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individuals responsible for a northern Michigan gun store burglary. According to authorities, the burglary happened at about 4:15 a.m., Nov. 21 at Full Bore Firearms, located on Crittenden Court in Alpena. Police said two unknown people threw a brick through the front glass window of the building and stole 49 firearms. The burglary is being investigated by officers with the ATF, Michigan State Police and Alpena County Sheriff’s Office. Couple accused of Metro Detroit crime spree, bringing their children with them
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – A couple was arrested by Farmington Hills police Wednesday, accused of breaking into about 30 businesses across Metro Detroit. The man and woman have children together and police said they brought the children with them in their car while they committed crimes. The officer knew there were people breaking into multiple businesses, night after night, and he stopped the car. Police said a hammer was found inside the car and the couple admitted they had been spending nights driving with their children, breaking into businesses and grabbing about $100 each time. The bike was custom made for Leland Kraft -- a 12-year-old boy who was born with cerebral palsy -- so he could ride with his sisters. Detroit man faces up to 10 years in prison for Harper Woods burglary, police say
HARPER WOODS, Mich. – A Detroit man is facing up to a decade in prison in connection with a string of business burglaries in Harper Woods, police said. Numerous businesses on Kelly Road were targeted and burglarized in the fall of 2019, according to authorities. Detectives gathered evidence from the scenes and identified Antonio Gamble as a suspect, officials said. He was charged at 32-A District Court with breaking and entering a building with intent. A preliminary examination is scheduled for April 15 at 32-A District Court.
