It happened on 8 Mile near Telegraph Road. The victim was shot multiple times, including once in the head, which caused him to crash into a wooded area. He was transported to a local hospital; his condition has not been released. A security camera at a nearby restaurant may have captured the incident.

Detroit man charged in Dearborn road rage shooting
DEARBORN, Mich. – A 38-year-old Detroit man has been charged in connection with a road rage shooting in Dearborn, according to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office. Prosecutors have charged Luis Berrios-Rosario with assault with intent to murder, assault with intent to do great bodily harm, discharged of a firearm from a vehicle, felonious assault and four counts of felony firearm. The shooting happened Sunday in the area of Warren Avenue near Chase Road. Prosecutors said the the victim was traveling westbound on Warren Avenue toward Greenfield when he allegedly noticed a vehicle driving erratically. The victim allegedly drove alongside the Berrio-Rosario’s vehicle when he pulled out a gun and fired, striking the victim’s vehicle.

DETROIT – A road rage incident sparked a shooting Tuesday in the westbound lanes of I-94 near I-75, according to authorities. The westbound lanes of I-94 were closed for about two hours at I-75 near the Woodward Avenue exit in Downtown Detroit -- a busy spot during rush hour. Michigan State Police officials said a man called police around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday to say someone had shot at him on the freeway. It’s unclear what sparked the road rage, but the man told police multiple shots were fired, according to MSP. Nobody was injured in the shooting, but the man’s car was hit by gunfire, officials said.

DETROIT Its a number police cant remember seeing in the past -- 13 road rage shootings in Metro Detroit over the last three weeks. We havent had this many road rage incidents without firearms, let alone with firearms, we havent seen things like this -- where people are just mad about something, Michigan State Police Lt. Mike Shaw said. The freeway shootings are happening, in most cases, because of everyday agitations on the road. A simple lane violation, disrespecting someone, somebody looked at them wrong -- going too fast or too slow, Shaw said. So far, there have been 12 shootings in Wayne County and one in Oakland County.
