Police blocked the street early Thursday morning in the neighborhood near 8 Mile Road and Groesbeck Highway. Detroit police said one person is in custody in connection to this shooting. Argument over slashed tires in Warren leads to double-stabbing
WARREN, Mich. โ A man is in critical condition at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital after a stabbing Sunday morning. According to authorities, an argument over someoneโs slashed tires turned violent just before 3 a.m. and two men were stabbed. It happened near the intersection of Jackson and Mullin avenues, just north of Eight Mile Road. Both men were rushed to Ascension Hospital for their injuries, where one is expected to be OK and the other is currently in critical condition. Clinton Township woman killed in head-on crash with tow truck on Groesbeck Highway, officials say
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. A Clinton Township woman was killed over the weekend when her SUV drifted into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a tow truck, officials said. Clinton Township police were called at 4:39 p.m. Sunday to a crash scene on Groesbeck Highway, according to authorities. Investigators said a Chevy Equinox driven by a 51-year-old Clinton Township woman was heading north on Groesbeck Highway, moving with the flow of traffic. The Equinox struck a flatbed tow truck head-on the southbound lanes, police said. Alcohol and drugs are not believed to have been a factor for the tow truck driver, according to authorities.

MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. - Police are looking for a man in connection with the theft of a bank bag at a Mount Clemens' restaurant. According to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office, on July 26, a man entered a restaurant on Groesbeck Highway where a bank bag had been left on the counter. Police said as he was ordering food, he put the bank bag inside his own bag while the person behind the counter was distracted. Heavy rains Monday night cause major flooding in Macomb County
MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. - The cleanup is ongoing in many Metro Detroit communities after Monday night's storms, especially in Macomb County. Heavy rains and flooding forced M-59 to close at Mound Road, leaving some cars stranded in the water. It wasn't just roads, the flooding also forced some small businesses to close because the water levels just wouldn't go down. The problems first showed up as water filled M-59 near Mound Road. The water levels were so deceiving even tow trucks needed tow trucks.
Flooding closes freeways in Macomb County
MACOMB COUNTY - The Michigan Department of Transportation announced Saturday night several major closures across Metro Detroit due to flooding. Michigan State Police reported the flooding was caused by a water main break in the area. Eastbound I-94 at I-696 is closed entirely and eastbound I-696 is closed at Groesbeck Highway. Southbound Groesbeck Highway reopens south of 12 Mile Road after crash
