Toyota urges owners of old Corolla, Matrix and RAV4 models to park them until air bags are replaced
Toyota and General Motors are telling the owners of about 61,000 older Corolla, Matrix, RAV4 and Pontiac Vibe models to stop driving them because their Takata air bag inflators are at risk of exploding and hurling shrapnel.

2021 North American International Auto Show canceled due to pandemic
DETROIT โ On Monday, the North American International Auto Show announced it will not hold the annual event in 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. In 2020, NAIAS also canceled the event as a result of the pandemic. The show was canceled last year after it was announced that Detroitโs TCF Center would become a temporary hospital for COVID patients. Fiat Chrysler CEO Manley to run Americas after PSA merger

North American International Auto Show moves reimagined show to Sept. 28 through Oct. 9, 2021
DETROIT โ The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) announced that it will move its reimagined indoor and outdoor show, originally planned for summer 2021, to Sept. 28 through Oct. 9, 2021. โSpreading out major auto shows is a win for everyone, particularly our partners. Dates announced for 2020 North American International Auto Show in Detroit
DETROIT - The dates have been announced for the 2020 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. "The 2020 NAIAS will be an event like no other," Chairman Doug North said. This year, it will add the Crowne Plaza as an official hub for content such as symposiums and panel discussions, NAIAS officials said. "The month of June will be one the automotive industry will own in the city of Detroit," Executive Director Rod Alberts said.
