TROY, MI -- The victim in a fatal road-rage shooting Monday night has been identified as a lieutenant with the Detroit Fire Department, according to Fox 2 Detroit. Police believe Dombrowski left his home in Rochester Hills Monday night and traveled southbound on Rochester Road in a black Ford Crown Victoria. Security footage obtained during the investigation shows a white 2014-2018 Jeep Cherokee following the victim into the gas station lot. “That altercation escalates into a shooting where multiple rounds were fired by an occupant of the white Jeep Cherokee. According to WXYZ Detroit, Detroit Fire Commissioner Eric Jones announced the latest suspension Monday, after an incident over the weekend involving a firefighter who was serving as an acting chief. The firefighter was arrested for drinking and driving and the incident is also under investigation by the fire department. The latest incident came just days after another firefighter was suspended for allegedly driving drunk while operating a fire truck. The 26-year-old who was driving the fire truck had been drinking at the party and allegedly struck a parked car when arriving on the scene.
