Derek Hill, 52, said he pulled over to help when he saw a woman stranded in a Roseville Del Taco parking lot on Tuesday. It was around 1:30 a.m. when Hill saw a car broken down on Gratiot Avenue at Masonic in Roseville. He said he motioned the person motioned for Hill to roll down his window and thatโs when he was punched. Michael Masters of Masters Auto Sales in Roseville heard about the attack and gave Hill one of his vans.

Police: Man recorded women in Eastpointe bathroom weeks after same offense made in Roseville
EASTPOINTE, Mich. โ Michael Robert Capizzo was taken into police custody Monday on suspicion of using his phone to record video of women in an Eastpointe Big Lots restroom. According to authorities, Capizzo, a 22-year-old registered sex offender, went into the womenโs bathroom at the Big Lots located on 10 Mile Road, just west of Gratiot Avenue Monday, where he placed his cellphone under a bathroom stall wall to record an occupant inside. Police said he fled the scene, but officers were able to identify and arrest Capizzo without incident. Capizzo has been charged with using computers to commit a crime and capturing/distributing images of unclothed person. Police said Capizzo was arrested in Roseville for the same offense in November.
Suspected robber fatally shot at Wash Pointe Car Wash in Roseville
ROSEVILLE, Mich. โ Police are investigating an attempted robbery that resulted in a fatal shooting that killed one of the accused robbers, Roseville police said. The shooting happened at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Wash Pointe Car Wash. Police say a 30-year-old man was at the car wash and was approached by two male suspects who revealed a handgun and attempted to rob the car wash patron. The car wash patron was armed and police said he โexchanged gunfire with one of the alleged robbers.โ During the shooting, one of the robbers -- now identified as a 16-year-old boy from Detroit -- was shot and later pronounced dead at a local hospital. Macomb County Sheriffโs Office investigating after traffic radar trailer vandalized
MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. โ A traffic radar trailer in Macomb County was vandalized and is no longer functional, according to officials. Officials said the trailer costs approximately $9,000 to replace. Officials said they receive traffic complaints and put locations of the complaints on a list where they then deploy the trailer. That information is used to help decide which areas are a priority to deploy deputies, officials said. โWith the senseless loss of this tool, traffic enforcement will become difficult in residential areas, where our children often play,โ officials said in a Facebook post.

21-year-old man shot to death by his brother, Shelby Township police say
SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. โ Police in Shelby Township are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred Saturday afternoon. According to authorities, at about 5 p.m. police responded to a home on Glen Eagle Drive, near the intersection of 21 Mile and Schoenherr roads. Police said they found a 21-year-old man who had been shot during an argument with his brother. He was rushed to the hospital where he died. Police said the brother has been cooperating with the ongoing investigation and there is no additional threat to the neighborhood.
