What’s popping? Today is National Popcorn Lover’s Day and what “butter” way to celebrate than to enjoy a delicious bowl of your favorite snack. Ronier Golightly and Trever Jackson from Motor City Popcorn joined “Live In The D” host Tati Amare and guest co-host Jasen Magic to give popcorn lover’s new ways to zhuzh up their snack.

What if you could have a taste of Italy right here in Detroit? Tom Isaia and manager Kaila Perkins of Momento Gelato and Coffee joined Tati Amare and guest host Jasen Magic on “Live in the D” to talk about their coffee shop located right in Corktown.

2023 is getting off to a magical start, thanks to friend of “Live in the D,” Jasen Magic. The popular Metro Detroit Comedian, Magician and Entertainer, leaves his audience mesmerized and wondering how he accomplishes his unique tricks. That’s no exception for “Live in the D’s,” Tati Amare who Jasen says just doesn’t get how he pulls off the tricks he does right in front of her. Tati agrees and says she never knows what to expect when Jasen is on the show, and he gets her every time. During Jasen’s first visit to the show this year, he once again pulled off a trick, and to her surprise, got Tati again.

If you’re looking for a night out this weekend filled with laughter and magical surprises, Genitti’s Hole-In-The-Wall in Northville is the place to be. Entertainer, magician, comedian, and friend of “Live in the D,” Jasen Magic stopped by the show to speak with Jason Carr, and of course he brought the jokes and surprises. The public will have the chance to experience Jasen’s unique comedy show along with a family-style Italian dinner. The dinner and show take place Saturday November 19 at 6:30pm. Genitti’s Hole-In-The-Wall restaurant is located in Downtown Northville.

Hosts Tati Amare and Jason Carr were joined by Jasen Magic who created a magical experience to celebrate National Wine and Cheese Day. Then Jasen made cheese disappear from under his hand- how'd he do that? Jasen Magic even taught Tati and Jason how to make two wine corks seamlessly pass through each other. As Tati and Jason struggled to make this trick work, Jasen reminded the hosts that the "Trick is simple but the illusion is amazing."
