The Detroit Pistons have reportedly added another center to the mix ahead of the March 25 trade deadline. The Pistons signed Tyler Cook to a 10-day contract on Monday, according to The Detroit News. Cook joins a Pistons team with three other centers under contract. The 23-year-old center last signed a 10-day contract with the Brooklyn Nets after some strong play in the G League. Detroit could also look to audition the Iowa product as a future option at center with the Pistons still open for business with the deadline 10 days away.

Pistons acquire Hamidou Diallo from Thunder for Svi Mykhailiuk, second-round pick
On Friday night, they agreed to trade Svi Mykhailiuk, along with a 2027 second-round pick, to the Oklahoma City Thunder for shooting guard Hamidou Diallo, a league source confirmed. The Pistons acquired Mykhailiuk, who was the 47th pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, in 2019 from the Los Angeles Lakers. Prior to Friday night’s deal, Mykhailiuk was Detroit’s longest-tenured player after the Pistons and Blake Griffin mutually agreed to part ways. Diallo, was the 45th overall pick in the 2018 NBA draft. So far this season Diallo, has averaged career highs in scoring (11.9), rebounding (5.2), assists (4.2) and minutes (23.8).
