Man in custody after 25-year-old stabbed to death in Monroe County
FRENCHTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. โ Police are investigating after a 25-year-old Monroe man was stabbed to death. Police said there was another 25-year-old man in the hotel lobby who was taken into custody. He is being held in the Monroe County Jail. AdMichigan State Police, City of Monroe Police Department, Monroe Community Ambulance and the Frenchtown Fire Department assisted at the scene. Armed man ties up manager while robbing Monroe County Applebeeโs
FRENCHTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. โ An armed man tied up the manager of a Frenchtown Township Applebeeโs restaurant while he stole money from the safe Tuesday morning, officials said. According to the Monroe County Sheriffโs Office, the man was wearing dark-colored clothing and a ski mask when he confronted the manager as the manager was opening the business at 2100 N. Telegraph Road at about 8 a.m. The man ordered the manager to open the safe then tied up the manager and took an undisclosed amount of cash from the safe. The manager was not injured, officials said.
