Sunshine and dry weather for Wednesday. Temperatures are a bit tricky as the northern suburbs will barely make it to 60 while south of Detroit sees the low 70s. It will be quite windy Wednesday with gusts out of the NNE up to 25mph.
More sunshine on the way for Metro Detroit to end weekend
After a nice day with a mixture of sunshine and clouds, we will keep the dry weather going as we head into the evening and overnight hours tonight, some of that cloud cover sticking around thanks to Post-Tropical Cyclone Ian well off to our southeast.

Showers continue to fall this afternoon and are, at times, heavy. While the severe threat remains low, it can’t be completely ruled out. A rumble of thunder will also remain possible until all activity fades closer to 7 p.m. Friday evening. Skies clear overnight as temperatures drop into the upper 50s and lower 60s.

Happy Monday morning Metro Detroit! I know, I know. At least temperatures have moved into the comfortable zone after a cold front came through here late Sunday and a second cool front moves through this morning. Temperatures are in the upper 50s to low 60s as you head out to begin the work week or take that morning bike ride, walk, or jog. The skies are mostly clear as you head out so grab those sunglasses and maybe throw a sweatshirt in the mix if you’re planning on staying downtown for the return of the Ford Fireworks in Detroit tonight. Metro Detroit weather: Warming week with 80s in sight
Good Monday morning! We do have a bit of cloud cover over Metro Detroit but no rain in the area with temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s as you head out and about. What a Mother’s Day Weekend! We had nothing but sunshine and mid to upper 60s although some of your carmometers may have been reading 70 degrees both days. The clouds that rolled in overnight are from showers well off to our west and won’t be a factor in our forecast today. We should see a beautiful sunrise as the sun battles through these clouds as the clouds begin to fade away making for a magnificent Monday.
Metro Detroit forecast: Get ready for some weather whiplash
All in all, Wednesday ended up being a pretty nice November day. Sunshine, even with the afternoon high clouds, combined with temperatures in the mid-50s (12 degrees Celsius) to make it an easy day to take, especially considering how November can be.

Showers and storms are possible again Saturday. They will be more widely scattered and less frequent than yesterday or earlier this week. We’ll experience more sunshine and warmer than average weather is here to stay for the holiday weekend.
