Pontiac teen hospitalized, brother arrested after fight over girl; missing girl found on roof
A fight over a girl at a Pontiac home led to a 15-year-old boy being beaten unconscious and his 16-year-old brotherโs arrest, according to police. Officers said they found two girls at the home, including one who had been reported missing and refused to come down from the roof.

DETROIT โ Detroit police said a 2-year-old boy was found Monday wandering the streets alone on the cityโs west side. The childโs family was located before 1 p.m. on Monday. A resident saw the boy around 7:50 a.m. Monday walking around in the 8200 block of Asbury Park without supervision and crying, according to authorities. That person took the boy to the Detroit Police Departmentโs Sixth Precinct. Police said the childโs mother fell asleep and the child wandered out of the house.

Police vow to work with probe of shooting of autistic boy
SALT LAKE CITY A police department vowed Tuesday to cooperate with multiple investigations of the shooting of a 13-year-old autistic boy by officers in the Salt Lake City area. The Salt Lake City Police Department said the officers were called to a home in Glendale, Utah, Friday night with a report of a boy who had threatened people with a weapon. The boy reportedly ran and was shot by an officer after being pursued by police. No weapon was found Friday, the Salt Lake Tribune reported. Salt Lake Mayor Erin Mendenhall said in a statement late Sunday that the shooting was a tragedy and called for a swift and transparent investigation.

According to authorities, police were responding to a assist officers on a domestic violence call when they struck the boy on Livernois Avenue, near Otis Street. The boy was taken to a hospital and is expected to be okay. Police said the car had its lights and sirens on at the time and its officers were not injured.

DETROIT A 15-year-old boy was allegedly shot during a verbal altercation in Detroit on Saturday evening. Police say around 8:20 p.m. the boy was with a group of males in the 15800 block of Maddelein Avenue when they engaged in a verbal altercation with another group regarding an ongoing dispute. An 18-year-old male allegedly produced a weapon and shot the victim during the argument. The 18-year-old has been taken to the Detroit Detention Center for processing. Child falls three stories at Lake Buena Vista resort
ORLANDO, Fla. โ A 9-year-old boy fell three stories at a Lake Buena Vista area resort Thursday afternoon, officials said. Orange County Fire Rescue responded to Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa after receiving a call about the fall at 4:37 p.m.WKMG-TV reports the boy's family was gathering their belongings to head back to Michigan when the boy stayed behind in the room on the third floor. A family member returned to the room, heard the child scream and then saw the boy on the ground, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said. The boy was alert, conscious and able to walk when first responders arrived. The child was flown to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, deputies said.
