SAGINAW, MI โ A 19-year-old man died in a fatal car crash here after he fled law enforcers during a traffic stop Tuesday, Dec. 20, state police said. The traffic stop was initiated related to a drug investigation, she said. The driver sped away and troopers pursued until the chase ended when the Dodge Charger crashed into a tree and utility pole on Perkins near Fourth Street at about 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, Vetter said. The teenager died at the scene, she said. Vetter said state police continue to investigate the incident.

DETROIT -- A 20-year-old Roseville man has been charged in connection with the death of a 9-year-old boy who was killed Saturday after being hit by a car while riding his ATV. According to the Associated Press, Daveon Hardiman was charged Monday with one count of reckless driving causing death. Hardiman was allegedly behind the wheel of a Dodge Charger that was traveling the wrong way down a one-way street at a high rate of speed when he hit MaiโJuan Calderin. Witnesses reported seeing Hardiman driving the car and allegedly attempting to flee the scene after hitting Calderin, but other drivers blocked his car in until police arrived. Bond was set at $50,000 and Hardiman is expected back in court on March 31.

DETROIT โ Michigan State Police released footage of a Friday night police pursuit through the streets of Detroit. According to authorities, two people pointed weapons at a Detroit police officers and drove off in a Dodge Charger. Police said the pursuit began just after 10:30 p.m near the intersection of Evergreen Road and I-96. The pursuit ended when the Charger ran a stop sign near the intersection of Kentfield Street and I-96 and struck a DPD cruiser. Chicago man charged with reckless homicide after two die in Aurora crash

OTTAWA COUNTY, MI โ A driver fleeing police late Tuesday, Sept. 30, crashed a Dodge Charger on the Baldwin Street entrance ramp to eastbound I-196. After a brief pursuit, the driver crashed into a cement wall on the Baldwin Street entrance ramp to the expressway. The Charger came to a stop partially blocking the right lane of eastbound I-196, police said. The driver, who was not hurt, had multiple outstanding warrants and faces news charges for allegedly fleeing police. Officers initiated a traffic stop and when an officer stepped out of the vehicle to approach the Charger, the suspect vehicle allegedly pinned the officer against the police cruiser. 2 arrested in Somerset Mall carjacking
TROY, Mich. โ Two people are in police custody after allegedly hijacking a vehicle outside of Somerset Mall on Thursday morning. Police say at about 7:30 a.m. two males were approached by four people in a silver Nissan when exiting the mall. Two suspects took the victimsโ 2016 black Dodge Charger and fled the scene while the other two suspects fled the scene in the Nissan. A black 2016 Dodge Charger was hijacked from two people at Somerset Mall on the morning of July 23, 2020. The two suspects from Tennessee are being housed at the Jackson County Jail and are expected to be arraigned soon.

DETROIT - Police are looking for multiple suspects after several cars were stolen from a dealership in Detroit. According to authorities, Dymix Used Autos on Freeland Street, just south of West Chicago Street, had seven cars stolen from the dealership's garage. The thieves took a Dodge Charger and used it to pry their way inside the garage. He said once the thieves created a pathway, the vehiclers were taken in about 30 minutes. It's a huge financial loss for the dealership, but the business plans to stick around and increase security to make sure it doesn't happen again.
