Detroit children learn golf from new Detroit PAL program
DETROIT – The Detroit Police Athletic League (PAL) works to enrich the lives of children through sports and character development. Detroit PAL’s director of program administration, Fred Hunter, said it’s important for nonprofits to join forces and share resources amid the COVID pandemic. Police: Tiger Woods injured in single-car crash, extracted with ‘jaws of life’

The crash occurred shortly before 7:15 a.m. Police said Woods was transported to a local hospital by ambulance for his injuries. Police said he had to be extracted from the vehicle with the “jaws of life” tool. Woods’ agent Mark Steinberg told Golf Digest: “Tiger Woods was in a single-car accident this morning in California where he suffered multiple leg injuries. Golf star Tiger Woods was injured in a vehicle rollover in Los Angeles County, authorities said.
