Identity of body found in Tittabawassee River in Midland unknown
MIDLAND, MI — Police are working to identify a body found in the Tittabawassee River in Midland. About 10:27 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, Midland police officers responded to the 2600 block of Tittabawassee River Road for reports of a body floating in the river. Midland firefighters also responded to the scene and used a boat to assist in retrieving the body. It is unknown how or where the man entered the river. Police investigating body found in Lenawee County
LENAWEE COUNTY, MI – Police are investigating a body that was found in the River Raisin on Thursday. A property owner found the body in the river in Raisin Township on April 8, Michigan State Police said. Body pulled from Calumet River near 95th Street
Later Friday afternoon, shortly after 3:30 p.m., a 17-year-old was discovered in the water in the 2600 block of West Belmont, according to police. He swam back to land and was taken in good condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, police said.chicagotribune.com

ISHPEMING, MI -- An investigation is ongoing by the Ishpeming Police Department after a body was found under the ice of a frozen lake last week. Orion Township woman’s body left in bed for nearly a month
ORION TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The body of an Orion Township woman was left in her bedroom for more than three weeks until authorities issued a welfare check Sunday. According to authorities, at about 11:30 a.m. Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a home on Conklin Road for a welfare check after someone believed there was a dead body within the home. Deputies said Animal Control was called to the scene for the removal of two dogs that were preventing Deputies from entering the home. When deputies made entry into the home, they said they found a deceased woman in an upstairs bedroom and a deceased dog in the basement. Authorities said the daughter told the deputies she was overwhelmed and was not emotionally prepared to deal with the death.
