Logan Grimes, 29, of Cadillac, was charged with carrying a pistol without a license, possession of unregistered ammo and large capacity ammo feeding device. There were many more Metro Detroit residents who were in D.C., but they did not enter the Capitol Building. DETROIT – Family and friends of Rodney and Marlene Rodriguez are remembering the two after they died in a two-car collision on Michigan Avenue. According to a GoFundMe page, Rodney and Marlene were married for 43 years. Rodney just picked up his wife from work at a city casino when the crash happened on New Year’s Eve night. Larry and Tahisha Smith had just left MGM Casino when they saw the crash. Police said Rodney and Marlene were in their Mercury Sable which was split in half in the collision.

Police are investigating a crash that killed two people and injured another in Macomb County. According to authorities, the collision happened just before 9 p.m. Wednesday when the driver of a 2005 Cadillac CTS-V lost control on the westbound lanes of 23 Mile Road and drove into the eastbound lanes, striking a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500. MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. – A 60-year-old Roseville man was arrested after leading police on a chase in Madison Heights. He was arraigned Thursday on charges including fleeing and eluding, malicious destruction of police property and operating while intoxicated. That’s when he took off, leading police on the chase. As the driver was approaching traffic on Stevenson Highway, he goes onto the sidewalk to maneuver around cars. McDonough was previously convicted in 2008 for fleeing and eluding.

SELMA TOWNSHIP, Mich. A 71-year-old man who went missing Friday afternoon was discovered in northern Michigan woods early Saturday morning. Police said a 71-year-old man left his home at about 3 p.m. for a daily walk and never returned. The Michigan State Police Cadillac Post K-9 Team was asked to help locate the missing man and started searching just before midnight. The man was found by dogs at about 1 a.m. Police said he was unconscious and extremely cold, so authorities wrapped him in emergency blankets. MORE: Missing in Michigan

CADILLAC, Mich. The Michigan State Police Cadillac Post welcomed its newest member to the team Friday. A female Labrador Retriever named LuLu recently graduated from canine school and is ready to serve. LuLu received specialized training and is a single purpose dog. She is from Hungary and received six weeks of specialized training tracking explosives, said LuLus handler, Trooper Unterbrink. Police use Labrador Retrievers while an event is taking place due to their friendly demeanor and ability to move through crowds with ease.

Troopers and officers from other law enforcement agencies located a suspect vehicle about 9:20 a.m. Saturday in Clinton County north of Lansing after an alert was broadcast of a suspect believed to have been involved an attempted homicide in the Cadillac area. Police say a pursuit of the suspect vehicle continued into Livingston County, and after officers stopped it in Howell, the man exited his vehicle, walked towards the side of the road, and shot and killed himself. The man’s name hasn’t been released.

SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A person riding a motorcycle was killed after colliding with a vehicle in Shelby Township on Monday night. Shelby Township police say that around 10:51 p.m. the 37-year-old from Roseville was traveling northbound on Schoenherr Road on a 2012 Yamaha motorcycle when they collided with a 2015 Cadillac SRX traveling southbound on Schoenherr Road and making a left turn onto Greenville Drive. The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. Officials say alcohol did not appear to be a factor. Parts of Northern Lower Michigan will get some decent snow tonight and into Wednesday morning. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Western part of Northern Lower Michigan, including Grand Traverse County, down to Ludington, Cadillac and Gaylord. “An arctic front will bring very cold air into the Great Lakes today into Wednesday. This cold air over the relatively warm waters of the Great Lakes will kick on the lake effect machine once again. The typical northwest flow snow belts should see the most snow through Wednesday.”Most of the impacted area will see 2-3 inches of snow, with an isolated six or more inches.

DETROIT - An 18-year-old man was rushed to the hospital Friday afternoon after being shot. According to authorities, at about 5:30 p.m. in the 13500 block of Minock Street, just north of the Jeffries Freeway, the victim was sitting on a porch when a black Cadillac approached the residence. Police said the occupants of the Cadillac exited the vehicle and started arguing with the victim before one man fired multiple shots. The gunman was described as being about 23 years old and being about 5 feet, 8 inches tall. Police said he had an Afro-style haircut and was last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants with a white Nike emblem on one of the legs.

DETROIT - Police are looking for multiple suspects after several cars were stolen from a dealership in Detroit. According to authorities, Dymix Used Autos on Freeland Street, just south of West Chicago Street, had seven cars stolen from the dealership's garage. The thieves took a Dodge Charger and used it to pry their way inside the garage. He said once the thieves created a pathway, the vehiclers were taken in about 30 minutes. It's a huge financial loss for the dealership, but the business plans to stick around and increase security to make sure it doesn't happen again.

DETROIT - Michigan State Police are seeking the public's help in locating a dark Cadillac SUV and its owner involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash occurred Sunday. According to authorities, the collision happened just before 3:30 a.m. on the northbound lanes of the Southfield Freeway near Fenkell Avenue. Police said the vehicle is a dark 2017 or newer Cadillac XT5. The surveillance video provided shows the vehicle has its driver's side headlight out.
