A pedestrian was hit and killed on I-94 shortly after he crashed his vehicle with several children inside. Michigan State Police say the initial rollover crash occurred on the well-traveled highway near Harper Avenue at 1:20 a.m. on Monday. Witnesses later told police the vehicle was being driven recklessly before it ran off the roadway and overturned. The man was later identified as the victim in the pedestrian crash that occurred near Gratiot Avenue. Police said that as he waited, a man approached on foot, entered the victim’s Nissan Altima, produced a weapon and ordered the victim out of the vehicle. Pedestrian in critical condition after collision in Clinton Township
A man was critically injured when in a collision in Clinton Township, Dec. 19, 2020. CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 52-year-old man is in critical condition after he was struck by a pickup truck as he was crossing the street near the intersection of Cottrell and Harper avenues, just east of I-94, Saturday. According to authorities, the collision happened just before 5:30 p.m. when the pickup truck turned from northbound Harper Avenue onto eastbound Cottrell Avenue, where the man was walking in the crosswalk. Police said the man struck his head and suffered a head injury. Police said the driver, a 53-year-old man from Clinton Township, immediately stopped and rendered aid.

16-year-old girl fatally shot on Detroit’s east side
DETROIT – A 16-year-old girl was killed Sunday night when she was shot during an argument. Police said it happened just before 8:30 p.m. on Beaconsfield Street, near Harper Avenue and Outer Drive. Police said the suspect exited the house and fired a shot into the home, striking the 16-year-old girl. She was rushed to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Truck ends up on top of Mustang in St. Clair Shores collision
ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. A collision Saturday in St. Clair Shores put a pickup truck on top of a Ford Mustang. The crash happened on 13 Mile Road, near Harper Avenue. Police havent released many details, but the driver of the Mustang walked away from the crash with a cut on his arm.
