According to authorities, the incident happened at two homes near the intersection of Judd and Gentz roads, just west of I-275 between Sibley and Huron roads. Police said the son, 25, arrived at his parentโs home that morning and attacked both of them -- one inside the home and the other across the street in the neighborโs yard. DETROIT โ Police said a man who was holding two children hostage inside a home on Detroitโs west side surrendered Sunday. Authorities blocked off the surrounding area while hostage negotiation and special response teams tried talking the man out of the home. DETROIT โ A Detroit man has been charged in connection with the assault and torture of his pregnant girlfriend, according to Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthyโs office. Billy Ray Cromer, 30, has been charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm, torture and felonious assault. Officials said the incident occurred on Friday at 8 p.m. in the 8830 block of Rosemont Avenue in Detroit. Cromer is accused of going to the home he shared with his girlfriend and violently physically assaulting her. He is accused of grabbing her by the neck, choking her, and repeatedly punching her in the stomach and head.
Domestic violence suspect threatens police after incident in Lincoln Park, police say
TAYLOR, Mich. On Monday at 10:30 a.m. a family went to the Michigan State Police Metro South Post to report a domestic assault incident that happened in Lincoln Park overnight. Police said the suspect is supposed to be armed with an AK-47. After the incident, the suspect left Lincoln Park and drove to the Taylor area where he allegedly intentionally rammed a vehicle occupied by family members of the domestic violence victim. Man turns himself in months after allegedly assaulting girlfriend in Bagley Township, police say
ALPENA COUNTY, Mich. A man turned himself in to police on June 23, nearly five months after allegedly assaulting a woman in Bagley Township. Michigan State Police say they responded to a report that a woman was being assaulted by a man inside a minivan in the afternoon of February 8. Police say the woman believed Sobeck was deliberately trying to crash the vehicle. Troopers were able to identify the man but were unable to locate him the day of the assault and the months following, officials said. Sobeck, of Alpena, turned himself in on June 23 and has been held at the Alpena County Jail.

Man assaults woman, takes vehicle with 5-year-old inside, Tased by Michigan State Police
DETROIT โ A 5-year-old girl was recovered unharmed Saturday afternoon after being taken by the motherโs ex-boyfriend, police said. According to authorities, a woman told police she was driving a vehicle down the Lodge Freeway just after 4 p.m. with her ex-boyfriend and her 5-year-old daughter when the ex-boyfriend began to physically attack the woman. Police said she was able to pull onto the service drive at Seven Mile Road, where she was forced out of the vehicle. Police said the woman gave police a possible address for the ex and troopers were able to locate her vehicle near the intersection of Lyndon and Strathmoor streets. Police said a TASER was used on the man and he was taken into custody.
Canton man accused of assaulting wife with saw, slamming 8-year-old on ground
CANTON, Mich. โ A Canton man is facing charges after he allegedly assaulted his wife with a saw and slammed an 8-year-old girl on the ground, police said. Oswald John Tallent, 46, is charged with assault with intent to murder, torture, assault with intent to do great bodily harm and 3rd-degree child abuse in connection with the incident. Officers were called to the 7300 block of Stonebrook Drive at about 1:15 p.m. Monday for a domestic assault report. Police said they found a woman in the driveway with lacerations on her face and body. Tallent is accused of using a saw to harm his wife before slamming the 8-year-old girl on the ground and dragging her up the driveway by her hair, police said.
Macomb County prosecutor: Woman cuts, pours urine on daughter with disabilities
The victim said she also found her wheel-chair bound sister covered in urine and her mother standing over her with a knife. Police said the second victim told them their mother took a container of urine from their uncle with mental disabilities, threw it on her and slid a knife against the back of her neck, causing a small but visible cut. According to authorities, a granddaughter said she was stabbed with a pencil and scratched. Angela Lenora Gay was charged Wednesday with assault with a dangerous weapon and three counts of domestic violence. Shirtless and barefoot, Nikprelaj ran to the snow plow, which is owned by ZLM Services, a landscape firm a block from the apartment complex, police said. Wayne County judge David Parrott charged with domestic violence
VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP, Mich. โ Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged 34th District Court Judge David Parrott in connection with an alleged assault involving a 55-year-old woman. According to the Wayne County Prosecutorโs Office the woman is Parrottโs partner. On Feb. 8 at around 7:10 p.m. Van Buren Township officers were sent to a home in Van Buren Township that Parrott shares with the victim. When police arrived, the victim was upset and told officers Parrott assaulted her and she suffered a bump on the head, a laceration on the hand, and pain in the tailbone. Parrott was expected to be arraigned this afternoon in the 34th District Court in Romulus.
