TROY, Mich. – Police are investigating after a man was found stabbed to death outside a Belle Tire in Troy. Police were called to the parking lot of a Belle Tire at 4966 Rochester Road in Troy at around 7 a.m. on Monday. Employees arriving for work found the man lying next to the front entrance of the building. Police said it is unknown how long he was outside, but his body was found covered in snow. A knife was found in the parking lot but it’s unclear if that is the knife that was used in the stabbing, police said.

TROY, Mich. – Police are looking for two suspects believed to have fired shots into a Troy hotel room early Saturday morning. Troy police say that at about 4 a.m. Saturday, five shots were fired through a sliding glass door and into a hotel room at the Hawthorn Suites. At that time, there were four teenagers from Roseville and Detroit celebrating a sweet 16 birthday party inside the room, police said. Troy Police Dispatcher Dies After On Duty Heart Attack

(CBS DETROIT) – The Troy Police Department is mourning the loss of a dispatcher as a result of a heart attack that happened on duty. Communications Supervisor Curtis Reynolds, Jr. died Sept. 25 at a local hospital after being unresponsive at work. Troy Police say it happened the morning of Sept. 19 which was also Reynolds’ 50th birthday. He was treated at the hospital for several days and as a result of the heart attack, Reynolds sustained diminished brain activity and passed away. On February 20, 2018, Reynolds was supervising the Communications Section when a barricaded gunman incident occurred at house on Brooklawn.

Police: Troy Restaurant Employees Targeted In Gift Card Scam

(CBS DETROIT) The Troy Police Department is warning employees of scams targeting restaurant employees. Police say an incident took place at Five Guys and Ocean Prime where employees were scammed into buying gift cards. Police say $2,164 was placed on five debit cards and the employee took photographs of the front and back of the cards which she sent to the caller. Police say the gift cards needed to be registered online and hadnt been, so Walmart may have been able to stop the transfer of funds in time. The victim was instructed to take $5,000 of the restaurants money and purchase gift cards which he did.
