Temperatures will be back to normal Saturday afternoon, but Metro Detroit will be treated with sunshine.

Warmer temperatures are expected for Wednesday and Thursday, but our search for sunshine might leave us empty-handed.

Waking up to widespread, moderate to heavy rainfall across southeast Michigan early this morning. Localized flooding remains a threat, but our severe risk has waned.

To obtain its ranking, each city was judged by its light pollution levels according to the GoodToStargaze app.

Seasonal and sunny Tuesday ahead. A cold front will push through this morning increasing our chances for a quick passing flurry.

Partly sunny to mostly cloudy on this Presidents’ Day. A flake or two may fly early in the wake of a passing cold front, but nothing impressive.

Cooling off today and breezy this morning but expect the winds to diminish throughout the day.

A seasonably cool and breezy start to this Monday morning. High pressure briefly returns today before much warmer air arrives on Tuesday ahead of our next system.

A cold front is moving a bit faster than earlier model runs predicted. It will bring a chance for showers late afternoon and early Saturday evening. More on that in a moment.

Storm Tracker 4 Radar is picking up scattered rain and thundershowers moving through Metro Detroit from northwest to southeast this morning. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like everybody is going to get showers, and what showers you do get won’t make a very big difference to our parched ground. Still, every little bit helps. A few areas (North and West Zones) may see a couple of rounds of morning showers producing a quarter to a half an inch of rain as a cool front slowly brushes by our area. Even though the showers are not widespread, they will continue past sunrise impacting parts of our morning drive with temperatures in the middle 60s as you head out. The umbrella will not be needed all day.

The final full evening of winter will be mostly cloudy, with scattered rain showers. By this time, nearly an inch of rain will follow throughout much of Southeast Michigan since Friday.

After springing forward one hour, getting some snow and feeling some sunshine, this evening will be chilly with some clouds overhead.

Tuesday went from mostly cloudy to partly sunny during the day, with cold, but not unbearable, temperatures. Highs were near 30 degrees.

Wind chills are even a bit lower. Skies are mainly clear.

We had some lovely sunshine Monday afternoon, with fair weather clouds, it’s becoming more frigid immediately after sunset and overnight, with wind chills plunging way below zero.

Friday afternoon becomes milder and a little wetter just before sunset. Afterward, rain becomes steadier and, at times, heavier in the evening and during nighttime hours.

We have more wonderful weather on our hands. Even with the increase in clouds, it remains dry, with temperatures above average.

Aside from a few wispy cirrus clouds, Monday has been sunny and spectacular.

Metro Detroit is looking at another another round of snow Monday night after a sunny start to the day.

Wednesday evening will be mostly cloudy and cool. Temperatures will be in the low 40s.

Wednesday will have sunshine in the morning and clouds in the afternoon. The wind blows in relatively mild air. We will still be in our jackets, with high temperatures in the mid- and upper 40s.

Tonight will be fair and chilly with milder weather to come tomorrow.

It remains chilly to cool to entice more vibrant colors from our fall foliage.

High pressure settles in this afternoon, tonight and for the next few days. This means skies get brighter and daytime temperatures rise higher. The afternoon will be seasonable. After a chilly night, it becomes warmer tomorrow through mid-week. Showers and cooler conditions come back afterward.

Showers are becoming more scattered and leave by early afternoon. Once a warm front passes it becomes warmer later in the afternoon with brighter conditions. Tonight will be mild and dry. Tomorrow will be even warmer.

We start with murky and mild conditions again. Ahead of a warm front, showers arrive for the morning and middle of the day. We will not have a washout because the damp weather passes and brighter, much warmer conditions arrive. It will feel like late spring today and summer tomorrow.

Clouds continue to lower and thicken the rest of today. Despite this it becomes warmer.

Saturday will be dry at first then end with wet weather. You can expect it to be warm though.

After a cool and crisp morning, it becomes warmer today with sunshine.

Sunday evening and tonight we get just what we need -- a well-deserved break from stormy weather and high humidity.

Last night’s storms are gone, thankfully, but many Detroiters are cleaning up, again. Damage from flooding, high winds, lightning and possible tornadoes have to be dealt with, and we’ll have calmer weather to recover. It becomes hotter with more tolerable humidity. It remains mainly sunny with higher than average temperatures tomorrow and through mid-week, too.

After a few morning sprinkles and showers, clouds are leaving. It’s becoming brighter and much warmer this afternoon. Friday night will be mild. Then, the heat is on Saturday and Sunday. If we can string three consecutive days of 90-degree weather, we’ll have a heat wave. That looks possible.
