61-year-old Harrison Township man killed in Macomb County crash
MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. โ Officials are investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian in Macomb County. Macomb County Sheriffโs deputies were sent to Hall Road and Gratiot Avenue on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. for the report of a crash. Police said Reed Styers, 61, of Harrison Township was killed in the crash. 2 arrested in Harrison Township after police pursuit down I-94
HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. โ A routine traffic stop turned into a chaotic pursuit on I-94 Thursday morning. According to authorities, Macomb County Sheriffโs deputies made a traffic stop just before 12:30 a.m. on a red Chevrolet pickup truck near Crocker Boulevard and Reimold Road. Police said the truck pulled away as the deputy approached and fled on I-94 eastbound. Police said the suspect began to deliberately ram the deputy vehicles, causing on vehicle to drive off the highway. Storing, a 31-year-old woman from Clinton Township, was arrested for flee and elude, assault with a deadly weapon and possession of heroin.
Suspected crocodile reported in Clinton River in Harrison Township
HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. โ Macomb County Animal Control is investigating a suspected crocodile or alligator reported swimming through the Clinton River in Harrison Township. โIt was just swimming over there, came up out of the water. It had seen me and then went back down in the water,โ said Anthony, who was near the river. Local 4 News' Tim Pamplin explored Clinton River for sightings of the suspected reptile. HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. โ Many people attended the rally featuring Donald Trump Jr. and Kid Rock in Harrison Township. โItโs great to be back in Michigan and we are going to win Michigan," Trump Jr. said. Kid Rock did a mini concert right after. On his Instagram, Kid Rock said heโs struggled with neck issues for years and showed a picture of himself getting a cortisone shot. But he said he would not miss the rally with Trump Jr. because of his commitment to re-elect the president.

Macomb County Sheriffโs Office investigating after traffic radar trailer vandalized
MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. โ A traffic radar trailer in Macomb County was vandalized and is no longer functional, according to officials. Officials said the trailer costs approximately $9,000 to replace. Officials said they receive traffic complaints and put locations of the complaints on a list where they then deploy the trailer. That information is used to help decide which areas are a priority to deploy deputies, officials said. โWith the senseless loss of this tool, traffic enforcement will become difficult in residential areas, where our children often play,โ officials said in a Facebook post.

A 37-year-old Mount Clemens man suspected of shoplifting at a Target on Gratiot Avenue and 23 Mile Road Chesterfield Township was arrested after he led police on a vehicle chase Tuesday evening. Chesterfield Township police were called to the store at about 6:24 p.m. after store personnel reported that the suspect had stolen electronic equipment. He was located going west toward I-94 at 23 Mile Road, leading to the chase that was captured on police dashcam video. Parham was taken into custody, checked out medically, and lodged at the Macomb County Jail.

27-year-old dies while ice fishing in Harrison Township
HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. โ A 27-year-old man died ice fishing Sunday near San Juan Street and North River Road, officials say. The victim and another man were ice fishing when the victim lost his cell phone in the water and went in to find it. He did not resurface and that is when emergency services responded. The victimโs body was found several hours later, according to police. The Macomb County Sheriffโs Office is still investigating the incident.
Macomb County prosecutor: Woman cuts, pours urine on daughter with disabilities
The victim said she also found her wheel-chair bound sister covered in urine and her mother standing over her with a knife. Police said the second victim told them their mother took a container of urine from their uncle with mental disabilities, threw it on her and slid a knife against the back of her neck, causing a small but visible cut. According to authorities, a granddaughter said she was stabbed with a pencil and scratched. Angela Lenora Gay was charged Wednesday with assault with a dangerous weapon and three counts of domestic violence. Her bond was set with the condition she have no contact with her daughters or granddaughter.

The woman fell into the water on Monday while she was fishing. Macomb County deputies said the woman was in the water for 15 minutes after slipping off the dock. Firefighters arrived on scene to treat the woman. Deputies said she was doing better on Wednesday.

Fugitive escapes police after shooting in Harrison Township
HARRISION TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A wanted fugitive escaped capture as officers fired shots trying to stop him. On Monday morning a task force from Detroit was in Harrison Township trying to arrest Clint Washington Jr. when it all happened on Nicolle Drive, not far from Metro Parkway and I-94. Local 4 learned all of this started when police tried to execute a search warrant for the wanted 32-year-old. When Washington Jr. saw the officers, he tried to run his car into police vehicles and then attempted to hit the officers with his car. Police said no one was hit and Washington Jr. drove away from the scene.
